Hopefully they put you with the other filers of your month. That would make the most sense IMO, but that might be too logical for USCIS.

That's disheartening. I haven't checked the processing tables and have just been checking my USCIS app and checking in here about once a month, so I had no idea it was stuck on the same date for months. Fingers crossed these June filer approvals are a good sign that their wheels have been greased and they're starting to review more applications now than being at a standstill. People who filed around the same time I did for CR-1 (and months after) have gotten the shaft every time now when it comes to backlogs and we'll likely experience the same thing for the N-400. Bahhh.

Since people for June are getting approved, I wonder if that means July filers would have heard back already about an RFE? 

 

I REALLY hope my transfer doesn't mean I've been put to the back of the line with March 2017 filers...I would scream.

Pretty sure RFE notifications should be sent out soon before approvals start coming in, if not at the same time. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That does seem to be the case. Once someone looks at the file, they either approve it, send it for interview, or give an RFE. So all those things happen at about the same time.

Hi everybody. i have been reading in this forum all of your question an replys. also i was so frustrated beacuse the long wait. But i finally got news Yesterday.. this is my time line:

 

I applied july 1st, 2016 CSC - DIVORCED WAIVER 

Letter extention: July 5, 2016

Biometrics:  Someday Jan, 2017

approved: April 10, 2016. i got a mail saying: Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production 

 

Remark: I didnt sent a lot of proofs because i had a little time married. What i said it was sent a letter with a good explanation why i got divorced,  and proofs of what i said and a couple proofs of our marriage, like some pics, travel for honey moon, joint saving accounts...
 

So i think they started to procces July filers. I think i am the first one in this forum to be aprroved....

I find it really weird that you mailed the I751 on 7/1/2016 and had your biometrics appointment on 1/xx/2017?! Why did it take so long for them to schedule the biometrics?

Also, I find it even weirder that they approved only 3 months after the biometrics.

 

I hope everything goes well for everybody and I pray that the USCIS make those processes quicker for those who are trying to take those steps legally, paying a lot of money and investing a lot of time into the process.
