Apparently nobody from July got nothing, not even RFE.

June people the same. Approvals in December only for May filers.

Most likely will be having some news in February. I truly believe we won't get an RFE, we would have gotten it already. Its hard to imagine there were no internal procedures besides Biometrics since we filed in July.

I filed CSC. No I don't think its early to get a RFE. If USCIS goal is to complete the whole application process in 7 months, they cannot wait 6 months to mail a RFE. Like I said, the idea that after 6 months of receiving the application USCIS would only schedule a biometrics appointment and nothing else really doesn't resonate with me. Its very unlikely that there were no other reviews in the application. But I speak for CSC not Vermont. I think all who have filed in July at the CSC and didnt get a RFE so far are clear. Approvals, though, are likely to start by the end of January and not December, like it was supposed to.

My boss is actually going through this process too with his husband and they applied in January (VSC) and haven't heard anything back. Some days I look at this forum and I see Nov filers getting approved in October and it gives me hope that maybe I'll hear news by June, and then sometimes I'm thinking I won't hear anything until August. Unfortunately, my lease ends in June and my complex is being torn down so I'll have to move and I've read on here that a sudden change of address can cause a RFE and I know when I did my change of address when I moved States, UNCIS sent me a letter a YEAR later saying I hadn't told them (I filled out the form online) so I'm a nervous wreck thinking what if I get one and I don't get the letter because my apartment doesn't exist anymore...what if UNCIS doesn't get my new address, it's just so stressful. I can become an insomniac worrying about all of this stuff.

I recently moved, and I called since I couldnt do it online, it says my A# wasnt correct. I called, the lady processed everything over the phone, and she told me to also send a form for the change of address, to be sure it is processed. I received this week the confirmation letter saying my address change has been processed. If you change your address, call and also file the form..

Regarding the RFE because of change of address, I never heard about this. I know people that moved several times and did not have any RFE for that reason. And if that is the case, a RFE is very fast to be processed anyway

As per USCIS processing times for California service center they are currently working on May 14th 2016 filers for a few weeks now or I-751 filers. I think it will take at least April-May 2017 if not more to get approval.

The May 2016 Google doc (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1K2JoU_2yXD0QBBqRoM6_auTa52wY1gcMiM0YFhs6cYQ/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=0) is currently showing that 27 of 52, or just over half, of CSC applicants have been approved. No movement yet on VSC, alas.

So much for 6 months processing for CSC, eh? I always have the best luck of hitting a backlog whenever we file. haha.

I've been checking my USCIS app pretty much every day since the year started, but nope. Probably won't hear anything til next month, and then we have to start planning to file again for citizenship in May. Hooray! :bonk:

Looks like they've been stuck with May filers since November. USCIS website says they're processing cases filed on or before May 14 as of November 30. I wonder why they haven't moved on to June yet...

I don't necessarily agree with that... I don't believe that anyone has looked at any files later than the dates that are getting approved. I know it's not the way it's supposed to work, but I suspect that as some people are starting to get approvals, the rest will get RFEs... and not before. Their goal seems to be a bit of a moving target, and if they send out an RFE, I think that takes that application "out of the timeline" - so it's on us if we get an RFE that our application falls outside the 6, or 7, or 9, or 12 month goal they've set.

Also, I'm sure you all remember that we are part of the last group whose I-130s were SOOOOO far behind... I think we're caught in the same backlog now, and because USCIS doesn't consider our applications to be "high priority" (since as far as they're concerned, we are in status (as proven by our letters, and then by a passport stamp) throughout the process) we're the last applications to get dealt with.

I know it's frustrating, but I think all bets are off... I won't be at all surprised if I have to file for naturalization before I get my 10yr greencard. And yes, I filed at CSC.

Is your timeline updated?
