Thank you to everyone. So today I decided to call USCIS again and spoke with customer service asked for him to submit a service request about my case. And hopefully now things will go smoothly (cross fingers).

Any updates everyone? To those who submitted a service request via phone call, did you get any email confirmation from USCIS after the request was submitted?

N-400:

07/19/2019: Applied online

08/07/2019: Biometrics 

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

02/27/2020: Status changed to Approved. Oath scheduled for 03/18/2020

Guys! I received my biometrics appointment letter! I called USCIS earlier this month (when it was more than 30 days and I had not received my biometrics letter). They told me their systems were down, but I could still submit a case request online (https://egov.uscis.gov/e-Request/Intro.do) so that's what I did. I got an email confirmation immediately after submitting my request. Yesterday, I received the letter for both my biometrics appointment, and also the letter as a response to my service request (which also included the biometrics appointment letter). So it took a full 2 months from the time I submitted my package to the time I received my biometrics letter. My biometrics is scheduled for 7th October.

Can someone please update my line:

Congrats, how long after you submitted the request did you get the appointment letter and the response to your service request letter?

It took 18 days from the time I submitted the request to the time I got the appointment letter. The response to the service request was received at the same time (so also 18 days).

Called USCIS on 09/02 to discuss regarding the Biometrics. Got an e-mail back from them that my name has been added to the Appointment list, But its been 25 days and still no update. 07/18 is when I got the NOA1 More than 2 months wait for Biometrics. Lucky Vermont Service center filers :)

So we never did receive my NOA1, so we made an info pass appointment for 9/19/16 to go get my passport stamped, when we spoke with the agent she asked me when I last had biometrics done, I said it would have been at the time of doing the original visa, she said I would need to get that done before she could stamp my passport so she made me an appointment for the next morning and then one to go back to her in the afternoon, so I guess in the long run I skipped the biometrics queue!

So we never did receive my NOA1, so we made an info pass appointment for 9/19/16 to go get my passport stamped, when we spoke with the agent she asked me when I last had biometrics done, I said it would have been at the time of doing the original visa, she said I would need to get that done before she could stamp my passport so she made me an appointment for the next morning and then one to go back to her in the afternoon, so I guess in the long run I skipped the biometrics queue!

So we never did receive my NOA1, so made an infopass appointment to go get my passport stamped, only to be told that I had to go get my biometrics first, so she made us an appointment for that the next day, and then we had to go back in the afternoon to get the stamp, they then told me that because me green card hadn't actually expired I would either have to come back the following week or they could clip the corner of my green card but some people didn't like that idea, I told them do what they needed to do because I was not coming back again, I'd already had to take 2 days off work. So I guess every cloud has a silver lining, we skipped the wait for biometrics!

I have still not received a biometric's letter. and now I'm freaking out because silverlake up ahead got it for Oct 7th and I will be on vacation all next week. And we filed pretty much around the same time.
