Hi everyone, just an update I got a biometric appointment via mail today and scheduled on the 30th of this month. almost 2months before I got it.. Hope everyone will have their schedule soon too!

Hi Earthmoon, did you have to call and put in a service request for the biometric appointment?

N-400:

07/19/2019: Applied online

08/07/2019: Biometrics 

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

02/27/2020: Status changed to Approved. Oath scheduled for 03/18/2020

Called USCUS today. Customer service rep freaked out when she realized that I have been waiting for more than 30 days for bio-metrics. Automatically transferred me to tier 2 officer, but the waiting time was more than 100 min there for had to schedule an appointment. hope they call me today :(

EVERYONE that has not received their bio appointment within 30 days of receipt date of your I-751, I urge you to call USCIS and file a service request. Take note of the request number they give you. This is in case they've messed up. Sometimes they mess up sending out letters and you end up having your application abandoned and need to talk them into re-instating.

In the August thread - where I am - we have some issues with bio appointments as well. I called in after 30 days (Aug 1 filer) and received my bio appointment last week (scheduled for the 28th). But there's people that have not received the letter and missed the appointment!

Naturalization (Eligeble for Naturalization 07/16/2017) - Package send out late, not sure I was going to send it out before or after ROC approval.
[07/29/2017]: Day 00 - Full package sent to Phoenix, AZ lockbox using Fedex 3 day.
[08/02/2017]: Day 04 - Package arrived, signed by E.Dejesus.
[08/02/2017]: Day 04 - NOA
[08/07/2017]: Day 09 - Check cashed

Just got the call back from USCIS officer. really not informative at all and sounded very annoyed with the questions i was making him.

First he placed me on hold because of the receipt number on my I-797 NOA apparently was incorrect or/ when they create/receive Form CRI-89 they create a new one receipt number and i will have to use the new number if i want to see my case at my case status on USCIS web or when i call them.

Then i asked him how was my biometrics interview? Second long hold for him to comeback and say still waiting for it to be scheduled. Asked why was it taking that long if there was any problem (note: i was very cordial and at any p[oint was rude or raised my voice), now in a very pissed voice the answer was you will just have to wait for it to be scheduled. and did tried to get more answers but he was annoyingly stating i'll just need to wait for the letter i'll receive with the scheduled appointment.

Really feeling depressed (just had my son by the way and all this stress is not helping, not to mention sleepless nights due to a newborn)

Maybe you should just speak to tier 1 rep and ask them to put in a service request for you. What you just experienced was exactly what I experienced when I called them the first time 3 weeks ago. They transferred me to a tier 2 who insisted that I needed to wait to be scheduled (exact words: "YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE LETTER. THERE'S NOTHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE HERE".) I called again yesterday and this time I asked the tier 1 rep to put in a service request for me instead of transferring me to an IO. She did and gave me a receipt number for the service request.

02/26/2020: Interview.

Hi SilverLake, yes, I did called last 2nd wk of September since my application is more than a month and no biometric schedule at all. I spoke to the customer service only not the tier 1 and she was so nice and she put in a service request for me and told me to wait in 15days should be able to get the biometric schedule (which I did received yesterday). Everyone I encourage you all to call, otherwise, our application will be sitting somewhere..

Congrats to your new baby, when I called I only spoke to customer service representative and she was so very helpful. You will have your schedule soon since you already gave them heads up on your application. God bless

I received a letter yesterday from Immigration which was my Service Request. It just said they put in a request and my name has been added to their scheduling list. But I have not yet received a biometric's letter. At least I know the service request was submitted.... still checking the mail everyday.

I have been following the strings and hoping it wasn't just me that was back logged into the abyss of the CSC. I have been following the strings and hoping it wasn't just me that was back logged into the abyss of the CSC. I tried calling the number listed at the bottom of my NOA 1 and the automated system asks for my receipt number. The automated system says it can't find my information and it has no option to speak to anyone. Has anyone else had this issue or is there a different number I can call? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When it asks for the receipt number, choose the option that says you don't know your receipt number/ have lost the receipt number. It will then instruct that you can find the receipt number on the NOA1 letter. Continue to choose the option that says you still don't know the receipt number/have lost it after that. It will transfer you to a representative.

N-400:

07/19/2019: Applied online

08/07/2019: Biometrics 

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed thus far to this thread. I've been following this thread and it has helped me not to loose my mind when biometric letter was not forthcoming. I eventually got the biometric letter on Monday, 19th September after calling the NCSC and having a service request put in. I did a walk in at the local ASC in Jacksonville.

Mailed 1751 on 23rd July,NOA on 25th July, Biometric appointment September 30th but did a walk in on 21st September.

Now, the long wait starts...To everyone still waiting for biometric appointment letter, call the NCSC and ask they submit a service request about your case.
