Not updates at all from USCIS!! It just seems like all the BIO METRIC APPOINTMENTS are clogged in USCIS and not coming through!!! Need a plumber!!!! :ranting:

Its going to be almost 2 months for me waiting for BIOMETRICS. I called USCIS and they opened a ticket# for my query and they said it will take 30 days for them to respond to the ticket.

We received a response from our inquiry into the biometrics appointment. It basically said that my name has been added to the electronic scheduler and we will receive a notice when my appointment is scheduled.

Bottom line...nothing has changed.

Ugh, I hadn't checked their thread, but yeah it seems none of them have received a biometrics appointment either. This is ridiculous. Everyone in the Vermont office got it even the ones in August.

I have done biometrics over a month ago, and I haven't received anything from them since then.

My green card will expire on 25 of this month, and I'm wondering what I would need to bring to go through immigration.

I travel to overseas very often for work, and I don't wanna have any problems coming back to the states.

Before biometrics, you should have received 1 year extended green card document. Did u get that?. That will be good enough for travel and work

Yes I got NOA1? Receipt notice before my biometrics letter.

My friend is going thru the process also, and he told me he received another letter as an official extension letter after biometrics, so I was concerned.

Thank you for response!

Then you should contact USCIS for this. That document is very important.

Your NOA1 should state that your green card is extended for another year. We recently traveled overseas and came back, and took the original NOA1 as well as several copies with us just in case. They didn't even bother asking for anything since the GC was still valid for a few more days, but they may ask for some documentation if yours is expired when you come back to the US. The NOA1 would be your proof of extension. :)

We have a Aug member that just got their biometrics appt. Make sure you file a service request to jump start your appointment being scheduled.

This is freaking ridiculous, I am about to call them again and see what is going on. I am getting so much stress from this and the upcoming elections, I can only imagine how much it's going to delay if something happens with a new president.

So I just called and the guy was totally unhelpful. He just told me I have to wait 30 days from the day when they put in a request and if I don't have anything then, then I should call them again. So not sympathetic. So, he wants me to wait until Oct 1st.
