Update:

I called again this morning and talked to a Tier II Officer who looked in the system and saw that no Biometrics Appt had been scheduled, but will not be able to put in a service request until next week.

However, she did give me my new Receipt Number -

I just had NOA1 and gave them the WAC number on the letter.

Hi Pinkrlion, did the automated system recognize your WAC receipt number at first (before you could speak to a customer service staff)? I received 2 receipt letters on the same date with 2 different WAC numbers, and the automated system wasn't able to recognize either of them. I was still able to speak to a customer service representative who said I needed to talk to a tier 2 officer regarding the 2 WAC numbers besides the biometric issue. It has been 2 hours and the tier 2 officer hasn't called me yet. I'm getting super nervous that getting 2 WAC numbers is now an issue.

When I called the automatic system stated that it did not register the WAC number and that it was not valid. The 1st rep entered the number again and stated that she could not look into the case as it was not showing and the Tier II Officer can see more info, so I was transferred. The system said I was in cue, and they would call me back within 90 mins. I left my cellphone number as the call back number. They did call me and I missed the call, but then they called back 30 mins later.

When I talked to the Tier II Officer, she stated that it was not called a I-751 and to refer it now as a CRI-89. She could look in the system and see that there was not a bio appt scheduled, but stated it would be soon as she could see my new WAC number. If I do not receive an appt by the 9th, to put in a service request, and she gave me my new WAC number. I entered it in USCIS Case Status, and it worked.

I am not sure why you have two receipt letters. Yeah only the Tier II can fix it. Do not worry they will call you back

Thanks Pinkrlion! I just got off the phone with the Tier 2 officer. He told me it was perfectly fine to have 2 receipt numbers (even though I made it clear to him that neither of the letters was a biometric letter). He said one was to notify me that they had received the case, and one was the extended letter for me to travel and stuff (which doesn't make sense to me, why would they need to issue 2 identical letters with only different WAC numbers and receipt time and looks like everyone on here only received one)- but anyway, he insisted so so I just went with it.

He then put me on hold to check if I had missed the biometrics appointment. He then told me an appointment hadn't been scheduled for me yet and I needed to wait for it to be scheduled. I asked if a request needed to be submitted for that because it had been over 30 days since the NOA1 date, to which he replied "No, you'll have to wait for it, when you're scheduled, you'll receive a letter." So no request was submitted for me.

I finally asked which WAC number I should use if I need to call them next time, he said I could use either of the numbers.

So I guess I'll keep waiting then.

Went to get my biometrics done yesterday, but with all the luck I have, I cut my thumb opening a Coke can in the morning (on my way to the Service Center). Needless to say, an hour and a half later of driving, I got there and they told me to come back with no cuts. I'm hoping to come back in next week.

But yes, they did ask me for my old green card, as well as the NOA.

Still no NOA1!!!! Very frustrating when I see everyone around us is now getting biometrics. We called them tonight and they told us they cannot mail out a duplicate and that we have to make an infopass appointment to get my extension .... I have 24 days left on my greencard and we are out on vacation for 6 of those days. So angry right now!!!!

do a walkin infopass... thats what i did when they sent me my greencard with the wrong information.I said, I need to leave urgently because of a family problem and in a few minutes it was done

I'm on the same situation as you, except I sent mine on August 1. They received the package on the 3rd and cashed the check on the 5th. AND I still haven't received NOA. I'm going on vacation too soon, but I'm not able to apply for VISA yet, because I need that extension letter. Pissing me off!

I think you should just keep calling until you talk to the USCIS officer who doesn't mind resending you the NOA. I heard that some of them would re-send them.
