Yes! So basically everybody from July who hasn't yet been approved can file a service request!

It seems like 1-2 weeks to get to you is not at all unusual. Wait another week or so, and if you still haven't got it, then file a service request saying you didn't receive the mail!

Can't believe it happen on me and can i call us is for my green card usps trucking number that they sent to me? If it really got lost do i pay one more time for the new card and how long is the process time to wait for receive the new one?

Try not to panic... it may just be taking a little longer than normal. I've heard some people have been able to contact a tier 2 (like a supervisor) at USCIS and get an actual tracking number for the green card, and then you can see if it's actually lost or if it's just taking a long time. And sometimes, even when the mail has been returned, they can just resend it without you having to pay for a new card.

The most recent USCIS processing time for CSC is now 3rd August 2016. I was advised by my attorney that it must be 30 days out before a service request can be filed. Which is what I am going to do. Unfortunately my field office has gone back (not sure how that works) 2days for the N400 filing.

I am registered with USPS daily digest and this how I found out that my card was unable to be delivered due to incorrect/incomplete address and got returned back to KY. So frustrating...So I called USCIS and they told me I need to wait 30 days to receive the card. i am assuming they will resend it with correct address. Just unbelievable. Oh and I received the approval letter without any problems and of course I didn't get the green card....My card was mailed on Oct 27 and they tried to deliver on Nov 1st and then got returned. I also filed an online request for non-delivery, i don't care I cannot wait 30 days:( Let see what happens...

Not sure if you have to wait that long... I just got off the phone with a Tier 2 officer. They filed a service request and told me I will hear back by November 23... They also confirmed that no RFE or other communication has been sent to me, which is good to know...

I will try and give them a call tomorrow then. I was only taking my attorneys advice. However after all this time waiting, then a phone call cant do no harm....

Don't they make a second attempt ? 

 

Most of the time mail carriers in my neighborhood leaves the GC in the mailbox or  rings the bell

Nope, they never tried second time. USPS told me even if one digit from your zipcode is incorrect they won't drop your mail. That's why they returned it.

You meant the 5 digit ..  if zip code is wrong (the first five digit) they will not deliver..

I dont get it..If you could see the package(i shows under the package for USCIS Corbin) ,then that would mean they scanned it to your mailing address and that is why you could see it in USPS Informed Delivery.Make sure you have the screenshot for the card being returned as undelivered so you don;'t have to pay any replacement fees in the future(God forbid)

I dont get it..If you could see the package(i shows under the package for USCIS Corbin) ,then that would mean they scanned it to your mailing address and that is why you could see it in USPS Informed Delivery.Make sure you have the screenshot for the card being returned as undelivered so you don;'t have to pay any replacement fees in the future(God forbid)

I think the carrier tried to deliver but no one home, so took it back to the post office. Where they decided to return it 

 

Usually they hold it for few days..
