Hello, i have a question.

I will be  moving tomorrow. I’m trying to change my address online and the system is giving me the following error:

  • You must select the Form Number associated to your Receipt Number. The Form Number you selected does not match our records for that Receipt Number.

I’m pretty sure that the form was I-751. Also if i check my case online it says CRI-89 and this option is  not available in the drop-down.

any other suggestions??? Thanks.

RECEIPT NUMBER is the number from your NOA1 (Extension Letter) because that is the number that is attached to your i-751, so that is the number that you need to use if the only option on drop down menu is i-751. Note that your US Citizen spouse is also need to file and send the I-865 (Sponsor's Change of Address).

Are you using the right receipt number? Im sure its the one that you use to check your online status which would be on the bio-metrics letter.  I had a problem with the form but not with the receipt number, try both, one of them should work.  What I had a problem with was the signature, in the end I just rang up the USCIS help line and a tier 2 officer did it for me and then I filled in a manual AR11 form and a i865 sponsors form as @Lemon23 has just mentioned to you.  Good luck and let us know if youre successful.

Removal of Conditions..  TICK TOCK, TICK TOCK

Time to reset the tick tock clock again.   Roll my eyes.

GC  Conditional date:  05/26/2015

N400.  Application:      02/28/2018

Biometrics:                    02/22/2018

Waiting............    Roll my eyes again :(

USA citizen as of 25th of July 2018. :)

@Lemon23 @shell20 OMG!!, thank you so much guys for your help. First I was putting the number that i use to check my status online (thats the one that was giving me the error)  so i did what Lemon23 suggested and i put the number that is on my extension letter and it worked!!. so after i changed it the system gave me basically the AR11 filled out which i printed for my records... Thank you so much!!!! <3

Hello all this is my time line if you like to add me!

We field on July 15/ 2016

we got approved on October 27/2017

I receive my GC on November 3rd!

but.... I have a question!

We received the GC first which I thought it's odd because I always thought that the approval letter first then the card!

anyway so today I received a letter in my mailbox from USCIS which of course it was the approval letter but!

it was printed on a plain white paper not on an official one with the hand of Statue of Liberty!!!

I just wondered if that happen to anyone else?

Sorry if my question was silly!

I will appreciate your responses

Its USCIS anything can be possible :D .. You did receive GC safely in your hand, that's all matters .. I think they probably realized the mistake after sending the GC.

Most of them receive the approval letter before the GC.. Even the case status changes after receiving the approval letter.. For some both on the same day...

For our case.. Received approval letter printed on light green paper with hand of Statue of Liberty... 2 days letter status changed to card in production

If you're still with your spouse you still need to fill in the i865 change of sponsors address form too. Its a manual one that you send off, make sure you have it sent registered post so you can get a receipt as proof.

Since the 2 pieces of mail come from different places, I guess it's possible that the GC just made it through faster. It is unusual, though, especially if you didn't get the approval on "official letterhead."

I hadn't added you since the other information for the list is missing. We need:

1) The day you sent your I-751 (approx is fine if you don't remember)

2) The date on your extension letter

3) The date of your biometrics appointment

4) The date of your approval.

Also, if you could add those dates to your Timeline (to which you can link from just underneath your photo in the left column) you'll be helping get the averages right for the internal VisaJourney analytics as well!

Congratulations on your approval!!

USCIS just updated the processing time. As September 30th they are on August 3rd. Does anyone have his NOA before August 3rd? mine is July 25th and still pending.

Yes! So basically everybody from July who hasn't yet been approved can file a service request!

It seems like 1-2 weeks to get to you is not at all unusual. Wait another week or so, and if you still haven't got it, then file a service request saying you didn't receive the mail!
