Filed on July 12 2016 biometrics August 2 2016 and today finally status changed to card in production. 

Also my case was divorce waiver. And I wasn't call for interview or anything. Omg I am on the seventh sky.

I have not started the n400 process. I did infopass more than a month ago and I have a one year stamp in my passport. I called up this morning and made a service request and received a call reference number. They said I would receive a response in 15-30 days.

Looks like we are in the same boat.  I will try to get another info pass today.

We're no longer in the same boat. I just received notification that my card is being produced today. I am so relieved and happy.

 

Thanks to people here for the support and upkeeping the list and sharing your stories. I quietly watched for the past year. It was a nice consolation to have you all out there.

 

Best of luck to those people still waiting and I hope you get good news soon.

the documents i submitted for i751 had joint bank account, joint tax, triple A bill, phone bill (doesn't show both names, only my name), car insurance and photos. are those enough? i didn't have life insurance. is it okay?

Hi y'all, I would like to inform that today I just got my approval in the mail:

New Card Is Being Produced

On October 12, 2017, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number WAC##########, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

My basic info now looks like this:

 

Date of I-751 = 07/07/2016.
NOA Date = 07/11/2016.
Biometrics = 08/05/2016.
Approved = 10/12/2017.

 

Some of you may remember me from the July/August time frame when my letter was expired, I spent weeks trying to get appointments at the local USCIS office, then I got held up for a little over an hour at the land border and when I got back home I finally got an appointment and a 1-year stamp at a local USCIS office in mid-August. When I got the letter today, I was really confused because it came from the local field office in an envelope from the VSC when my application was supposedly at the CSC (WAC...). But I decided not to spend time trying to figure that out.

 

There are a few things I wanted to highlight regarding the documentation and that may be helpful to you.  The second time around I sent pretty much the same documentation as the first time around. I pretty much just updated it. We do have joined finances and because we are really organized for personal reasons and have a file for everything, it was not really a big of a deal to get the bank statements, bills, credit card statements, income tax returns etc. It was all a few clicks away, thanks largely to my wife (although to this day I am not even sure if I am in any of the car documents because my wife bought them both while I was working, bless her heart). We bought a house together but honestly I don't remember what I sent as I don't have the file in front of me right now. My wife was recently pregnant at the time of the first interview back in the I-130 process but this fact was only verbally informed to them, I did not provide them any documentation about it. But in the second time, I sent the child's birth certificate for the removal of conditions. Now as far as pictures, we are very sensitive about it and don't even post family pictures to Facebook or Instagram or whatever the kids are using nowadays. I sent exactly the same thing in the first time and second time: one family picture per quarter, besides the wedding pictures the first time around (which was very few of them). I also did not bother sending any affidavits or anything else. But I do want to disclose that I also had a I-140 approved at the time of the I-130 interview. Upon the first interview, they promised to merge the files. However, I was never able to confirm if they followed through so to avoid any confusion, I felt that it was better if I made them aware of that fact upon the removal of conditions, sending them the I-140 notice as well. I don't know if that played a role on the approval or not. I did have attorneys for the I-130 but I did the removal of conditions on my own and not with an attorney. My recommendation however is to send as many documents as you can regardless if you have an attorney or not otherwise you risk ramping up your legal costs with RFE's and such anyways. But the idea of not using an attorney for the removal of conditions is a viable one. 

 

I am also not sure if/when I will file the N-400. What is mainly playing a role on this is the fact that my country may not accept the dual citizenship status. There's a law suit about it going on right now at the Supreme Federal Tribunal of the country and I want to wait and see what it is decided about that as it may become jurisprudence for future cases. Meanwhile I am also making an impact assessment in case I eventually end up with only one of the citizenships involved.
