We are working with the preparation of your visa package and will mail it to the applicant address on GSS profile which takes approximately 7-10 days. Applicant should refrain from making any irrevocable travel arrangements until he/she receives.<p>

Still waiting. My interview was over 2 weeks ago and the officer told me that I will hear back something in 2-3 weeks.  But they have all the time in the world, right?

We filed our I751 on 7/21/2017, NOA 8/2/2017, biometrics appt. was8/23/2017.  Am I understanding correct that it takes about a year to receive an approval? I assumed it would be about the same as the when we filed our I-485 which was 3 months.  Does the country my husband is from matter?  For example, in our K-1 process we were one of the last to be approved for June 2014 filers but then the remaining process was so quick that he arrived in the US much faster than a lot of fiancées ahead of us on Visa Journey.  He is from Cuba.  Does anyone have any advice as to how long it could take for us to receive an approval? We files in Vermont.

I really don't think your husbands country matters at this time especially if your AOS only took 3 months, you were lucky with that.   Vermont processing times right now are around 11 to 12 months, California longer. There are cases that are approved a lot sooner, but they are the rare ones and also cases over 2 years old again rare.  It's all subject to change as you know from your AOS, they could speed up or slow down, its a waiting game I'm afraid.

Just an update, I received text messages from USCIS and saw in the website that my case was approved .

NOA 7/19/2016 and Approval on 10/11/2017.

In my case I think filing for n400 before approval of I751 was not a good step.

I did call USCIS before sending N400 documents. They said its fine as far as you are eligible then you can file N400 and now they are not approving I751 with N400 applications. although I have got another extension step in my passport from local office but I do not want to through long process. They gave me extension until my passport is valid so that is another process I need to go through after 6 months if I do not get approval by then.

Please advise what would be the next appropriate step.

Just do a case outside normal processing time request. They will reply within 60 days 

I did this request and it said they should reply by 10/11 which is today and still have not heard anything.
