Hello Every one,

 

My status has not changed since July7 2016 it keep saying,

 

Case Was Received

On July 7, 2016, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received,

I have applied for n400 and my finger print is done too. I called uscis asking about my green card status but they are giving me  same answer that "your case is in normal processing time frame" 

I have seen here that many files from July got approval. I think its because of my 2 application I751 and N400 they put me on side. 

any other filer facing same things ??

I just received another set of text messages today from USCIS - went to check case status and it's been changed to "We mailed your card". I received the notice saying my card was in production 3 days ago, on 9/26... so for those who are still in "card in production" message, they should be mailing your cards very soon!

No, the N400 application might push the approval of the i751 but also could slow it down because of the mix of the documents (this was told to me by an immigration lawyer). But the N400 will not stop the processing of the i751 unless there is a big documents inconsistency.

Same thing here.

 The more and more I read now, the more I think that it's a mistake to start the N-400 process prior to receipt of the 10-year GC. It's too bad none of this would have to happen if CSC would actually work like it's supposed to. Pathetic.

Hi all,

I am finally submitting our RFE today. I got the RFE the week of August 10th and I am submitting it today. We really racked our brain about what to submit and it took SO long to get the evidence to back our case up considering who keeps utility bills from 3-4 years ago?! We've had trouble with prior landlords not having copies of our lease, etc. The week we got the RFE we spent a good 5 days focusing on calling insurance companies (getting claims), old landlords, etc. 

 

Then I lost my job, we had a vacation scheduled, had some very sick family members in ICU, then it was the hurricane Irma ordeal, no power, then trying to get back into the swings of life and focus on finding a job and now finally sending this off. 

 

We are SUPER nervous and wondering what happens if your RFE is denied? The paper says they have 60 days to answer once they receive it so we're hoping we do hear back within that time frame so we're not on egg shells for the next few months. It's really stressful to be going through this before the holidays. 

 

We HOPE that we have sent them enough evidence and fingers are crossed!

Definitely respect the dead lines they gave you on the RFE and send in a ordered manner the documents they requested. I know, this is already a stressful process but hopefully you had the time to put together what's needed. Good luck to you!

Received an RFE letter today. Please add my details to the timeline:

Filled date: JULY 13th 2016

NOA RECEIPT : JULY 18TH 2016

RFE received: 10/2/2017 (letter dated 09/25/2017)

 

I am suspecting my RFE is due to the fact that we had a joint account but we did not had joint transaction in there and the lease documents did not had both of our names in there. Interestingly they have listed summary of some of the documents I had submitted earlier (including the financial institution name) so this is not entirely generic letter . Anyone wondering, We jointly own a house now so I am planning to resubmit with mortgage and deed documents and also add our life insurance policies listing our spouse as beneficiary and of course a long letter justifying our application.

You think that filing the N-400 whilst the I-751 is pending is slowing things down even further?
