Hi, 

i have filed i751 waiver because I got divorced on June 6 2016, and I filed for waiver on 07/06/2016. 

My 3rd anniversary for the permanent card will on 01/21/2018. Can I apply for naturalization in October or it won't apply to me coz I am not married to US citizen anymore? 

Btw I am still waiting on my case.

No, sorry, you only qualify for naturalization after 3 years if you are still married to the person you got the GC through.

there is no requirement that they be the same person you got your green card through. only that you have been married to them for 3 years and for those same 3 years they have been a usc.

so it is possible to divorce after having your greencard a year then immediately remarry pass the roc and then file for citizenship after being married to the second spouse for 3 years which would have you being a lpr for only 4 years.

You're right! Cool! (although in this particular case, OP is at pretty much exactly 3 years and doesn't seem to be married to anyone)

I am still divorced 😂. Ok so it seems like I have to wait until 5 years ?

Did your status change to 'card production ordered'?. If it did, it takes on average between 5 - 7 business days to receive the card. If you only received the approval letter without a 'card production ordered' status change, there's no way of telling when you will receive the card. It has to be produced and mailed out first.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC : 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

No it didnt. My NOA1 is 08/22 and I plan to take a trip abroad leaving 11/25. I hope to get approved and get the card before then as I dont want to drive 500 miles to nearest field office to get my passport stamped. Thanks for the info.

July 1 here. Still waiting. I am hoping for some news this week being the last week of the month. Although 14 folks from June are still pending. Can't complain considering what they are going through.
