Our package arrived in Vermont on Friday and the check cleared through the bank tuesday evening. Now we are waiting on the letter.


I have a question though early to ask. Just want to clarify when my husband and I should start our file for removing condition after receiving our CR1 visa. If i get CR1 this month then should i apply 90days before my 2nd marriage anniversary which is May,2017 or before end of 2years of receiving CR1 i.e in 2018.

You're in the wrong area but I'll answer your question. You need to file no earlier than 90 days before your greencard expires. Your date of marriage doesn't matter.

Dec 2, 2011 - Vivian traveled to USA to attend a medical conference and had our first date. On Dec 10, 2011 - Vivian returned home.
May 15,2012 - Vivian traveled to USA to spend a month with me. smile.png
Sep 15,2012 - Met Vivian in Frankfurt Germany and on to Prague Czech Republic to celebrate our birthdays.
Sep 24, 2012 - Left Viena Austria. The last time I was with Vivian.
Nov 11, 2012 - Mailed in I-129F
Nov 19, 2012 - NOA1 recieved

June 13, 2013 - NOA2 approved.

June 17, 2013 - NOA2 hard copy received.

June 25, 2013 - Consulate received
July 7, 2013 - Packet 3 received

July 13, 2013 - Packet 3 sent

July 28, 2013 - Packet 4 received

Aug 22, 2013 - Interview scheduled and APPROVED!!! kicking.gif

Sept 17, 2013 - Visa in hand

Sept 18, 2013 - Traveled to USA - Arrived at Dulles Airport in Virginia.

We had the same thing happen with us!!!! My wife was really worried because her GC expires on Aug 8th!!!

I sent in my package and arrived on 7/2/16 at Vermont. My check only being cashed on 7/25 and I received the noa 1 dated on 7/13. Now I'm waiting for my biometric letter too. Pls add me to the list.

P/S: I made a mistake to send in the package a week before the 90 days window so I guess that's why it took so long for them to cash my check.

Can somebody tell how long is it taking to receive NOA1 from VSC after they have received the packaged. My package was received at VSC on July 30. Also, does NOA1 itself become the 1 year extension letter?

Can somebody please add my name as well to the list of applicants? Thank you
