One day you will say that hopefully I applied for N400 while my i751 is pending, if you didn’t take a risk you would not get anything , so be optimistic and wait for the citizenship directly

Great news! I just received a text AND e-mail saying "On November 2, 2017, we ordered your new card . . ." I went to the website and my case status was also updated to say the same thing.

 

NOA was 07/29/2016 and filed at CSC. Good luck everyone! Thanks for being here to help make the wait a bit easier. Good luck to you all still waiting!

2 months usually.  I got an RFE last week. Trying to send it out next Monday. What did they ask for from you?

I would say a month...I got rfe twice and the first time they responded in 40 days and the second one took 18 days...

my case says "Card was mailed to me"

but what I would like to really know is when should I expect the approval letter in the mailbox?

And  does everyone gets an approval letter? ( I think so )

 I would appreciate some answers thank you so much guys and good luck!

You should receive an approval letter soon. Most people do get their approval letter before their new card arrives, but they do come from different places, so you may get the GC first! Give it a couple of weeks, and you'll probably have both!

Either way, congratulations! Obviously, if they've mailed your card, you've been approved! 

 

While you're waiting, why don't you - I don't see you on the list - when did you send your package?

We just received our approval letter yesterday from VSC. No updates on the site just yet about card production.

It will take 3-4 days for the site to be updated...My horror story was receiving the letter and calling the USCIS customer service the next day to make sure the letter was not a gig and the rep couls only tell me the case was received July last year and no information beyond that.The site got updated yesterday and I was sent an email notification that the New card is being produced.So just wait and they will update soon

is anyone with an NOA1 date prior to July 19th still waiting? Mine is actually July 19th, and a Tier 2 said I don't qualify to file a service request, because they are working exactly on my date.... but seeing all the people who are getting approved with NOA1s past the magic date, this is beginning to make less and less sense....

There are a few of this thread's "frequent followers" (on the list that @friendlyusa mentioned) that haven't yet been approved yet, although most of them seem to have filed their N-400 for citizenship and that does seem to be holding people up a little bit right now. (They seem to have been put in line to go straight from Conditional Green Card to Naturalized Citizen without ever getting the 10 yr green card.

If you take a peek a couple of pages back, you can look at our list, and see what I mean. 

Nobody at the USCIS phone bank (and they're not really USCIS workers, they're just a subcontracted call center) really has any more info than what we can find on our own. (They occasionally do, but so very rarely as to be not statistically significant.) Almost all the call center people just blindly quote the date on the USCIS processing times website as the current date they're working on, even though we can see that it's not true.
