Openings at London embassy?

Hey, so I just booked my K1 interview - 15th August which is a little further away than I'd hoped (but hey, last step, at last!!)

Back in June I remember that there were suddenly loads more interview dates added for July... does anyone know if that's a thing that happens? Or was it just a fluke?

Yes it happened a few times while I was waiting for my interview, just need to keep checking I managed to move forward two weeks from my original interview date. Just regularly check the dates it went from early August dates to mid July dates to early July dates with in the space of two days.

I just checked and managed to move it from the 15th August to... the 26th July! Insane!!

I have rescheduled to a 29th Appointment, from the 4th August The earliest I can possibly go is 26th, Id love to get a 26th!!!! Gonna keep trying..........

For those of you who have been able to reschedule an appointment, did you find that there would be new openings at any particular time of day/ day of the week? When you saw new dates become available were there more than one, or did they come 1 at a time?

Our interview is scheduled for September 20th and we are desperate to get something earlier, but nothing has opened up since we scheduled ours last week. I have been checking religiously, but was wondering if there was a particular time that the embassy adds new appointments or what.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

I think they come up automatically when someone changes their appointment. I kept checking and managed to get a little earlier but from what I see there is so many people doing the same you have to be lucky to get one. Good Luck .. Its a pain doing the waiting game but it worth it in the end. I fly out on in two days to Start our new life xx

I was afraid of that... I have been checking as often as possible, but I am afraid that so many other people are doing the same. Luckily with the time difference my fiance and I are able to check pretty frequently with him covering the morning before I am awake and me checking after he has gone to sleep, although I guess that is also true for everyone in our situation!

I had my initial appointment on the 24th August, and managed to pull it back to the 19th August. I was checking regularly as well but I think once you get to 3/4 weeks out from the date you have, you should start settling that this is the date.

We had the 20th of September originally and just yesterday were able to switch to the 23rd of August!!! I can't believe it... crazy as his interview is now 12 days away and 4 weeks earlier than we had anticipated! :)
