Criminal history

Hello, I have a small question. Recently my wife (the petitionie) and I (petitioner) are filling the AOS paperwork, unfortunately we came across the criminal history part, and we've hit a snag. Technically her history is clean with no marks, unfortunately when she was 13 years old, she shoplifted and was caught. The police were never involved, she didn't get charges, and it never hit her touched her record. All she had to do was pay a fine to the store she stole from and promise never to steal again. We were wondering if she had to declare this event since there isn't any paperwork that can prove or disprove this event happened.

If the police weren't called, there was no police report, there was no imprisonment, no trial, no conviction, then there is no criminal history. She has a clean record...which means she has no criminal history.

She does not need to report the shoplifting. She has to declare arrests. Since the police was not involved, there was no arrest for the shoplifting.

Do not shoot yourself in the foot by brining this up during the immigration process.
