I called the NVC and they say the case is terminated. But I check online and I get "AT NVC" and that I should pay the fees. The only reason it has been 6 years is because my lawyer stopped following up with the case and her office shut down and she never told us and I've been waiting for nothing for the past 6 years! So what do I do?

You should contact NVC about restarting the process since your approved i130 might be still valid. It's highly unlikely NVC will reopen your old case since your party remained out of contact for more than a year.

Just call them and ask them how to restart the process. I guess you would be required to pay the revised AOS and IV fee.

If they told you that it has been terminated then you need to start all over..

OP has already contacted them and they told him/her that it has been terminated. case closed...

Starting over is the best route.
