St. PAUL, Minn.Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton said racism appears to have been a factor in the fatal shooting of a black man by a police officer Wednesday eveningwhere the aftermath was captured on video and livestreamed by the mans girlfriend.

Nobody should be shot and killed in Minnesota for a taillight being out of function, Mr. Dayton, said in a Thursday afternoon news conference.

Would this have happened if those passengers and the driver were white? I dont think it wouldve.

The governor said all the facts werent in, but added, Im forced to confront and I think all Minnesotans are forced to confront that this kind of racism exists.

LOL somebody's squirming but I believe she well knows that publicly threatening someone with a gun can potentially have serious consequences and once a gun and a threat is involved the police actually do not have to give you the benefit of the doubt. Hell in louisiana private citizens dont have to.

My liberal arts Jesuit education has given me many things including spiritual perspective to navigate a capitalistic society, communication skills that allow me to talk to sociopathic Executives and autistic software engineers from MIT in the same presentation and a nice home in a great community with a salary in the top 5%...I am not gonna about my education. I am fortunate and grateful that don't need a MBA or stem degree...being a starving liberal artist suits me fine.
