A quick question regarding the i-864 me and my wife met in Jordan but we came here for a visit then my wife decided to stay closer to her family in Idaho therefore we stayed here, we sent our AOS package and I've done my biometric appointment today.

My questions are:

1- she makes 25K a year plus 20% commission, is it enough for her to be my sponsor?

2- she did not file her taxes for 2015 and 2014 because she was not living in the United States but for 2013 she did file them but we did not include them, is it going to be a problem for us?

3- What will happen if we do not have a joint sponsor?

Thank you so much in advance for answering as we are very anxious about it.

1. Yes if this is her current income and she meets the other requirements. See below.

2. Yes. Did she have income in 2014 and 2015? US citizens are required to report all income worldwide. Not having income tax returns doesn't help the case that she can support you.

3. The visa will be denied. That's the end of the case.

Thank you for your reply.

1. That is her current income and we provided a letter from her job stating how much she's paid every month plus the 20% commission part. what other requirements?

2. We got a letter from the IRS for not filing the 2015 (She was working in Jordan but she was not making enough to file taxes) and she filed 2014 a week ago (She left in October 2014 to Jordan) so we're prepared if they ask for it, is that enough?

Thank you so much for your reply!
