nope, won't happen till the problem of police killing people is gone. you clearly do not know me. i've been on about police brutality and america's criminal justice system since 1991. i was 13, so good luck convincing me this isn't a 'good' flag to rally around. idc.

see, what you're doing here is still just attempting to justify cops executing a man. fail.

Wow you were just one year younger than that girl that the guy you are shedding tears over molested. Shame you have no tears left for his victims.

Now you're not addressing the law or the circumstances. The law says that if you threaten a cop, circumstances warrant their use of force to stop you. One officer saw a gun, the guy was still moving, and the other officer reacted immediately to stop him. The law says that the officer can do that. Circumstances are this: Convicted felons aren't supposed to be carrying guns around. Even law abiding people are not supposed to wave them around and threaten people. This guy did both and in doing so in the eyes of the officer presented himself as an immediate danger so they stopped him. (13) times before they stopped him without excessive force, even though at least once he fought with them and was also carrying a gun when he did. He got chance after chance after chance and blew it.

omg. you what else? i was actually molested too. why don't i justify the murder?

funny i just saw a story the other day, police in california somewhere got a white dude waving a gun around in a neighborhood full of kids, threatening everyone including cops, into custody without two cops sitting on him and shooting him pointblank, repeatedly. just admit that you want cops to be able to legally execute those they deem worthy of execution.

I'm not getting into your personal business. This is about what happened on that street that night.

As to your white guy story good for them. If they had shot him I wouldn't be forming a mob over it.

Cops always and everywhere have the right to use deadly force under certain circumstances. That's why they carry those guns around. I do want them to continue to have that right.

yeah but apparently it's still ok because the cops must have known he had a previous record of violence, had resisted arrest while carrying an illegal gun in the past, had earlier that same night threatened someone with his gun, and are thereby lawfully permitted to execute on site if they felt that he was an immediate danger to them or anyone else. 'murica and everywhere else on the planet

Fixed. Deal with it.

i've seen a few pictures of adults and children gathering to mourn and protest police violence - figures what i see as people in turmoil you see as a 'mob'

'that's why they carry those guns around' - well you've been duped on more than one level here, but i guess until your eyes get peeled back you'll just keep bumbling about feeling righteous. oh and something about chickens coming home to roost but don't let that set you off.

The man who shot down Alton Sterling is a third-generation police officer, the son of two Baton Rouge city police captainshis mother once the departments spokesperson, according to public records, and his father a former police union head who currently leads the SWAT team and was one of three finalists to become the new chief in 2013.

Now, even as the Justice Department takes control of the investigation into the shooting death and throngs of protesters line the streets of the river city, the question becomes: Will a well-connected police officer and his partner face criminal prosecution?

I think the crowd that robbed the local WAFB reporter forcing the news crew to pull out is a mob, yes. People in turmoil don't put their grief away to steal ipads from other people.

If you think they carry those guns around for any other reason then one of us is duped.

Sterling, who was widely known as “the CD man” and had the owner’s permission to set-up shop outside the store, never stood a chance and he was, according to the store owner Abdullah Muflahti, the wrong man.

Police dispatch tapes reportedly “show officers were initially dispatched to the scene for a report of a man who had pulled a gun on someone.” Someone called 911 to report a suspicious person at 2100 North Foster, according to WAFB-CBS Baton Rouge. The dispatcher radioed officers, informing them that the suspect is “on the corner” and was threatening someone with a gun. Muflahti, who had known Sterling for six years, contends that he was not the person police were looking for.

Deal with it.

Better check CNN not the Daily Beast since they have the homeless man who asked him for money and got a gun waved at him. Seems they did have the right guy after all. Oops right? Looking more and more like this doesnt really fit the theory of randomly shooting an innocent black dude. Edited by Expat1
