Phew. After countless hours of driving, numerous paid classes with a professional instructor, much frustration, yelling and being mad, my dear wife has today finally passed her driving skill test and is now the proud holder of a FL drivers license. And she has, for the first time, admitted that I was right all along in my approach to teach her how to operate an automobile.

This was about a year or so in the making (interrupted by the pregnancy). I've never seen anyone so scared of driving a car in my life. But she's finally gotten over it and has been doing well in her skill test this morning. The only thing that was mentioned was her needing to get a bit more of a feel for the brakes doing a smoother job slowing and stopping the vehicle. Everything else was great and she passed w/o error.

This is a huge accomplishment for Nani and I am really happy we have that behind us.

That's great and encouraging also! Congrats :)

We are still in the process of practicing for the test up here. My wife is still getting used to the different driving styles and this parallel parking stuff. The beltway up here can be quite nasty for new drivers.

congrats, sister nani 1..know the feeling i am working up enough nerve to teach sanita...i got a manual transmisison on my truck, so i may have to sue my son's car..he has an automatic in the garage....i see allot of shots of whiskey for me prior to each lesson
