If your I-485 says the card is being produced it means later on its gonna switch to Case is approved which means no interview! Congrats!!!?

Oh....i thought "case is approved" comes prior to "new card is being produced"??

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

No I had "Card is being produced" in both EAD and Green Card, after couple of hours it changes to "Case Is approved" then Card is mailed and finally picked up by USPS :) good luck!

No I had "Card is being produced" in both EAD and Green Card, after couple of hours it changes to "Case Is approved" then Card is mailed and finally picked up by USPS :) good luck!

Thanks for the info ?. Will check it again later, hoping all go smooth now.

Does it normally change to case is approved on the same day it went to new card is being produce?

What day most of you guys had a change of your i485 status? Mine hasn't changed for 100 days now. Last notification was first fingerprinting fee received on July 22nd. My field office is Pittsburgh, PA but for biometrics etc I only have to show up in Charleston, WV

What day most of you guys had a change of your i485 status? Mine hasn't changed for 100 days now. Last notification was first fingerprinting fee received on July 22nd. My field office is Pittsburgh, PA but for biometrics etc I only have to show up in Charleston, WV

we are in the same I485 timeline. The last status of mine was July 22, 2016 and what I have noticed, all JULY 22 on the case app aren't moving until now. Please update me once your status change.

July 9, 2016 - Application Sent to USCIS Chicago IL (AOS, EAD, AP)
July 11, 2016 - Package Delivered
July 12, 2016 - EAD & AP case was received
July 22, 2016 - I-485 Fingerprint Fee was received
July 26, 2016 - Electronic text & email received at 12:20midnight
July 26, 2016 - Check has been cashed out at 4:00am
July 29, 2016 - AOS, EAD & AP NOA1s hardcopy received
August 05, 2016 - Biometric Appointment Letter received (it was sent on 2nd Aug)
August 15, 2016 - Biometric Successfully Done within 20 minutes at Southpoint Jacksonville

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

Yes it's mandatory I adjusted from B1/B2 as well and already had my interview

I never heard of that, I think it applies to other visa not B1/B2

Someone said that if married for more than 2 years. No interview and 10 year GC. I guess it depends on the office and officer. ?

Yes usually its within couple of hours.

Someone said that if married for more than 2 years. No interview and 10 year GC. I guess it depends on the office and officer. ?

When you adjust status from any other visa than K, the interview is mandatory. My lawyer told me so.
