we know it's not good for the GC interview but the job offer is too good to pass out... and my company wants me to start working asap. I should push out my start date if I knew it is so complicated..

Finding a good job is not easy, I got you)) IO will make sure that you guys are bona fide married and then approve your case. Best of luck!!!??????

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

Hi tecwhy,

Are you living in SF bay area? I noticed that you EAD and AP got approved in 43 days which is unbelievable. May I ask how long does it take for you to receive the card once you got the notice saying it was mailed out?

Mine is approved on Oct.3 but hasn't heard anything. I called on last Friday then they updated my status to card was mailed to me. But several days has passed by, still no card in the mail.

My EAD status was changed to "New card is being produced" on Oct 11.

No updates since then... but the thing is I booked very cheap award flight to Europe for $45 for Nov 2nd and now it looks like I'm gonna lose this ticket )

I was hoping that uscis ships my card within 2 weeks after this "card is being produced" status appeared like they shipped it within 7-14 days to most of the people here, but again.. no luck. Damn.

Well. He went through the entire application and asked me about it while he check it off. Like my parents name, my birthday, hubbys birthday, and then went through all the crazy questions they ask for at the end of the application(are you a terrorist, ever murdered someome and so on).

He didn't ask my hubby anything specific.

Then some general questions about our hobbies, hiking, we talked and joked around about our dog being our kid. He looked at some bills I gave him, mutual bank account(he said that having a account together made his job so much easier so I assume that as a very important piece of evidence). He also looked at some pictures.

We weren't approved at the spot since he said he wanted to go through all the paperwork and see if anything was missing.

He chased us down before we left the building and said that he didn't have our marriage certificate(apparently that got lost somewhere)so we handed it to him and he made a copy.

Everything was a rather simple and fun experience.

July 12, 2016 - EAD & AP case was received
July 22, 2016 - I-485 Fingerprint Fee was received
July 26, 2016 - Electronic text & email received at 12:20midnight
July 26, 2016 - Check has been cashed out at 4:00am
July 29, 2016 - AOS, EAD & AP NOA1s hardcopy received
August 05, 2016 - Biometric Appointment Letter received (it was sent on 2nd Aug)
August 15, 2016 - Biometric Successfully Done within 20 minutes at Southpoint Jacksonville
