hi all,

We plan to take Cruise to Bahamas on this November. My question is can I go in/out on the ship with only EAD/AP card + driving permit

N400 (Open window 1/24/2020)

03/03/2020: online submitted N400 application

 

ROC I-751 (Open window 1/24/2019)

03/11/19: I751 sent to Phoenix, AZ.

03/12/19: Package delivered and signed for

03/19/19: The check was cashed. Text message was received couple hours later (#LIN)

03/22/19: Received NOA/18 months extended letter for GC

9/14/19: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Sep 25,2019

1/24/2020:  "New card is being produced"


AOS for K1

07/07/16: I-485, I-765, I-131 AOS Application sent to USCIS Chicago IL.

07/08/16: Package delivered

7/12/16: Electronic texts & email receiveds

7/15/16: 3 Hardcopy NOA1s received in the mailbox with dated July 11,2016

7/23/16: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Aug 4,2016

8/4/16: BIO is done at Denver USCIS support center

8/17/16: I485 changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" When????

9/12/16: EAD/AP status changed to New card is being produced ---> then EAD/AP approved same day

9/16/16: EAD/AP Hard copy approval notices received. Card was mailed to me

9/23/16: EAD/AP combo card received

Aos interview 4/24/2017 --> approved on the spot. GC expire 4/24/2019

 

K-1 Journey:

1/18/16: I-129F Package sent via FedEx to Lewisville, TX

1/20/16: I-129F Package delivered

1/21/16: Electronic text & email received

1/22/16: NOA1 notice date (routed to CSC)

1/29/16: Hardcopy NOA1 received in the mailbox.

4/6/16: NVC received

6/2/16: Interview day -->> Approved

6/12/16: Entered USA (POE Dallas/Texas)

6/14/16: Obtained marriage license at local COS office.

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

Green card approved as of today!! AH I am so relieved. No more paperwork for the next 2 years :) Interview was easy, 15 minutes long. Hubby didnt go in which was weird but hey its done so we are happy!

Good luck with all of you who have your interview soon!

Green card approved as of today!! AH I am so relieved. No more paperwork for the next 2 years :) Interview was easy, 15 minutes long. Hubby didnt go in which was weird but hey its done so we are happy!

Wopps starting to freak out a little.

Our interview is tomorrow and we totally neglected our checklist. We are in the process of buying a house so the realtor and lender has been killing us with stress lately.

Hopefully we can pull ourselves together tomorrow and not be so invested in Real estate hassle!

Have some pics, proof of mutual bank account, same insurance, 401k, tons of cards from family from the wedding, facebook screenshots, phone bill, comcast bill.

I hops its enough! :wacko:

If you are both on the same lease now, bring that too. Our IO really loved that lol Or any documentation you are both signing for the house/mortgage.

Haha, just checked my AP status and it changed to approved today too. I like how synchronous we are :D

Got our approval notices in the mail yesterday. Hope to get the card this week.

Wait can you work with K visa? Did you check updates online? Don't worry it is most likely to be approved hours after the interview, unless IO said openly it is not approved.

Technically you can work on kvisa till the date it expires, according to our SS OFFICE. After that you have to wait for EAD.

I got my EAD already and started working from Sep in bay area...

officer didn't say I'm refused but she said they need time to review our case and gave us a notice which is showing:

"Your case is being held for review. If furhter documents to be required, you will receive a notice in the mail. We may also schedule you for another interview, you will receive a notice in the mail. Otherwise, a decision will be mailed once your case is complete."

Oh I didn't know that)) anyways living in different cities is kind of a red flag for the officer, as far as I understand...

we know it's not good for the GC interview but the job offer is too good to pass out... and my company wants me to start working asap. I should push out my start date if I knew it is so complicated..

Are you living in SF bay area? I noticed that you EAD and AP got approved in 43 days which is unbelievable. May I ask how long does it take for you to receive the card once you got the notice saying it was mailed out?

Mine is approved on Oct.3 but hasn't heard anything. I called on last Friday then they updated my status to card was mailed to me. But several days has passed by, still no card in the mail.
