Mine was approved on the 3rd, it never changed to "being produced" just "card was mailed" on the 12th and I received it on the 14th. So all in all less than 2 weeks.

Thank you for your responses!

http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/

Find your congressman by zipcode, go to their office bringing the NOA. They will ask you to sign privacy form.

Your timeline is like mine and we are hitting 90 days. I had a RFIE a month ago and it's been 3 weeks since they received the response.

Are you able to track your EAD/AP/130 receipt numbers?

Yes, I am able to track all of my receipt numbers.

I have found my congressman. Do you know if it is better to go there with my wife (who is a US citizen and a petitioner)? Or I can go there by my own?

Hey I'm in Bay Area and my case was sent out on July 15th. My EAD was approved 2 weeks ago but no further info heard. What's more is that my I-485 has not yet been scheduled for interview or approved. So... You are luckier than me.

Sorry I didn't try to contact any congressman so I couldn't really help. Good luck tho.

I-485 is stuck in that status for almost two month. So I do not see any luck in that for me :) I really need an EAD at this point, not so worried about my GC for now...

Does anyone from BayArea have an experience making a Congressman inquiry in order to expedite an EAD or any other document provided by USCIS?

What is the address and/or phone number I should contact for that?

It is day 90 on my case and no update on my I-765 form since Day 0 :(

Thank you

Did you do an e-request on USCIS website? I did that and learned my fingerprint did not go through. I just redid it last Friday and the website gives me update. Try the e-request.

Oh no! What happened?

Got a officer in a bad mood and he wasn't believing that we're really married. He separated us for the interview then put us together and he was rude and saying that he wasn't going to approve my aos and he didn't told me if I was approved or not.. was crazy.. I even cried in the end after so much pressure.

Timeline

I've got a very hectic day today.

So my case is on day 91 today.

I had a scheduled InfoPass appointment at San Francisco USCIS office. This was my second experience with this office, I've been here a month ago.

I have made an appointment specifically for this day so in case I have no updates on my EAD I will bring all the paperwork (offer letter, a letter from the company, my own letter stating a severe financial loss, etc.) and give all of that directly to the officer in hand so they could initiate expediting or whatever since they are out of normal processing time already and I have no more time to wait.

So I came to the office 15 minutes earlier and got to talk to this horrible security guy. I showed him my appointment printout and my ukrainian driver's license as my ID. I used that ID a month ago and it was fine. But today he decided that it does not work for him and he will not let me in! He said that I need US issued drivers license or my passport. But the information on the website and on the appointment printout does not say anything about specifically US issued driver's license! It says "valid driver's license"! And the worst thing is that I have been holding my passport in hands this morning when I was packing and just decided to leave it at home so I will not lose it somewhere.

San Francisco office is 1,5 hours commute from the place we live. So I had no chance to go back home and be back before the office closure.

After a very nervous last month of waiting for my EAD updates and getting into this situation on the day that I was so prepared for and was so sure it will finally bring some progress I was totally devastated...

I asked security guy if I can come back tomorrow at least, and he said "yes" you can try to get in in the morning at 7:30 to 11:00 am as a walk-in customer. But there is no guarantee that I will be served, as if there are people with an appointment in the line then you have to wait.

So I went back home with being totally upset and angry on myself that I decided to leave my passport, and on USCIS that do not do a good job either specifying explicitly what documents you need to get in, either hiring and training good employees that do have some respect and care to other people.

On the way back I was thinking what else can I do, was emailing my employer and messaging my wife.

And suddenly I got a notification from USCIS: "New Card Is Being Produced" ! OH MY GOSH!

I don't know why did I need to go through all of this stress today and finally got an update, but looks like it was needed for someone above us. I have no explanation for this crazy coincidence.

So people bring your passports to USCIS even if instructions say that a "valid driver's license" is okay :)

I know there might be still a long wait for a card being mailed and received in hand, but at least there is some relief that my case finally got some update!

P.S. I am still planning to walk-in to USCIS office tomorrow to make sure that my address changed worked correctly for my I-765 form since I have got a response on the address change only on I-485 form.

This is fine according to the second person I talked to on phone when I called to USCIS (first person was not able to answer this question at all), but I just don't trust USCIS employees that much anymore so I want to make sure it will be mailed to correct address.
