I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

7/14/2016: USCIS accepted the fingerprint fee for Form I-485

7/23/2016: Notice for Biometrics appointment for 8/11/2016

8/5/2016: Successful walk-in for biometrics in Birmingham AL

9/3/2016: Received Interview Notice for registering as permanent resident in the mail on 10/5/2016. (Text message received on 9/5/16)

9/21/2016 : Status change to "EAD card is being produced". received text message.

10/5/2016: Interview for AOS. Approved for Green Card! (interview lady was thorough)

10/5/2016 1pm:Text message notice "New Card is Being Produced" for Green Card.

10/5/2016 3pm: EAD mailed to me

10/5/2016 9pm: AOS / GC approved

10/7/2016: Combo card received

10/13/2016 : Green Card received

My 1-485 status changed to interview scheduled. I filed on the last week of July, our interview is on Nov. 4. Don't have my EAD yet.

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

Just checked the app and the I-485 changed to approved!! What should I expect next? Will the next step be about the interview or does this mean no interview? I never expected an approval so fast because when I checked the processing time for my field office it was for December 2015. I wonder if they're still gonna mail my EAD card out?

Approved means you got your interview waived congrats on the GC!! processing times are only relevant information to you if you need an interview since interview take place at your local office but cases that get waived typically get approved at NBC

April 8th: AOS sent

April 11th: Recieved at Chicago lockbox [Day 0]

April 25th: NOA1 date (never recieved e-notifications) [Day 14]

April 29th: NOA1 hard copy recieved in the mail [Day 18]

May 9th: "Fingerprint fee recieved" [Day 28]

May 12th: Reciept number's start working on USCIS case status website [Day 31]

May 20th: Biometrics letter recieved [Day 39]

June 1st: Biometric appointment [Day 51]

​November 12th: Interview letter received ​[Day 216]

December 1st: Interview day! APPROVED [Day 235]

December 5th: Case status changed from "fingerprint fee received" to "Approved" post dated Dec 1st [Day 239]

Received approval letter in the mail for Green card [Day 239]

December 6th: "Card was mailed to me" [Day 240]

December 8th: Green card received in mail!!! [day 242]

Approved means you got your interview waived congrats on the GC!! processing times are only relevant information to you if you need an interview since interview take place at your local office but cases that get waived typically get approved at NBC

We filed service request online for ead since today is 75 days from received date. Hope we can find some movements I pour cases soon.

I tried to do the online request since today i'm at 78days and i got this after i hit Submit:

Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage.

If you have other questions regarding your application or petition, contact USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY).

How did you filed yours? I guess i have to wait until 90days pass? :clock:

What is your received date? On your NOA it will show received date. Mine is 7/19.

Did you do a service request for I765 or I131?

Yes, please do the same. What date did you get to expect answer? I got October 26 :( I also had a RFE for my Aos application i sent it and since my status changed to "response to rfe was received" on September 9th i had no other changes at all on any of the 3 applications. :unsure: I'm thinking maybe the RFE postponed AP and EAD. :wacko:

Hello my case was 7/18/16 (one day prior to Tara's) and didn't have problem submitting e-request.

When I tried 2 weeks ago I got the same message as you.

I did the e-request yesterday and this morning it is showing that my request was assigned to an officer.

Hopefully he/she will work on my case today.
