Yay! Finally!!! My EAD Card is being produced today! I just refreshed and boom! Not sure when it will be sent though ?

July 9, 2016 - Application Sent to USCIS Chicago IL (AOS, EAD, AP)
July 11, 2016 - Package Delivered
July 12, 2016 - EAD & AP case was received
July 22, 2016 - I-485 Fingerprint Fee was received

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

I'm getting the paperwork to reply for the RFE that I received last Sat. Hope to send out on Friday this week.

I basically provide more pay stubs for myself (3 more to make last 6 months).

I also get a co-sponsor to submit 864 with their tax transcripts, paystub, w2.

Hopefully this will resume my case to get the EAD in Oct.

Mojo...ours did that both in one day on the 12. Just got the notification with tracking.... being delivered Thursday!!! EAD/AP here he comes!!!!!

Hi everybody,

Congrats on all the good news. You guys are very lucky!

I applied for AOS on July 15th and today is Sep 21... The case status on USCIS website hasn't changed at all ever since the first notice. May I ask is that normal??? No updates.. no further notice... no hard copy or anything...

This is the first moment in my AOS journey that I felt nervous and worried. Can anybody help? Thank you very much!

We filed for adjustment August 11. Did bio on August 5. Still says fingerprint fee received.... we have heard nothing either.but people after us getting approved without interview....

There's no rhyme or reason... just patience. I think it all depends on local office (OKLAHOma city), visa you're adjusting from, and how backed up your case worker is. Just pray and stay positive!!!

Same as you - I've had my interview scheduled for October but nothing on my EAD or AP. Really want to be able to find a job soon so was hoping I'd have heard something by now.

When is your PD? I don't have an interview date yet unlike you you are set for Oct... mine just shows ready to be sched for interview :( just checked the mail and nothing still!!?

Filed mine last July 5. BIometrics on Aug 8. Since then i have not heard of anything, neither USCIS case status (which still case received) nor an RFE.

Hoping to hear more from USCIS soon. ??????

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

Just when i thought and opened the case tracker, my status now is RFE for INITIAL evidence.

How sweet is that?! I'm confused what went wrong with my docs.

-our affidavit of support is sufficient and we mer the 125% for a household of 2

-tax transcripts are sent as well as employment letter

-photocopy of marriage cert sent

-us spouse naturalization cert sent

And nothing i can think of caused the RFE.. ?

Now patiently waiting for the mail so i can figure out exactly what they want.

I applied for AOS on July 15th and today is Sep 21... The case status on USCIS website hasn't changed at all ever since the first notice. May I ask is that normal??? No updates.. no further notice... no hard copy or anything...

This is the first moment in my AOS journey that I felt nervous and worried. Can anybody help? Thank you very much!

Hello Did you do your fingerprint?

I made an appointment online for a infopass and went in today. They let me do my fingerprint the same day.
