May I ask what you do to get the missing document mail back to you? I've been waiting for a month and there is jothing that the USCIS can do beside keep putting another service request for me.

I honestly have no idea what even happened. My missing NOA arrived about two weeks after all the other NOAs. It looked like it was sent back to USCIS, and they just resent it back to me, and that time it did make it to my mailbox.

Sorry to hear yours haven't arrived :( Hopefully you can access your case numbers online to track your status.

How can you obtain DL? What state are u in. I'm in Colorado and they not allow me to get even an state ID. I need me to bring either AOS approval letter or EAD in order to give me an ID. My status still say Approved. It changed from Card being produced last 12 Sep to Approved to now. So weird

Im in california. My husband is in the navy so i had my military dependent id. Thats the only id i showed..

It really depends on the state and the office

03/19/19: The check was cashed. Text message was received couple hours later (#LIN)

03/22/19: Received NOA/18 months extended letter for GC

1/24/2020:  "New card is being produced"

You should be alright. I've seen people on here who had to wait up to 85 days until they could see their status. Don't worry too much :) you will be okay.

Also last night there popped up a thread of November filers in 2015. These people had to wait 10 months for an approval. That's scary....cudos to them for being so patient.

Current state of being while waiting for EAD approval

  1. I've become unpleasant to people I love. I'm not proud of it, but its true. working on becoming better.
  2. I'm stalking the USPS lady for mail from USCIS. Its becoming creepy.
  3. I'm refreshing my USCIS app hourly. sometimes every 15 minutes.
  4. I'm jealous to high hell of everyone on the forum with EAD approvals! Not proud, but true!
  5. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
  6. Waiting, waiting, waiting.
  7. Burning through our savings. I need to work.
  8. Entering into mild depressive state, but nothing an EAD can't cure!

Don't feel bad. hang in there. I have only 2 out of 8 case numbers working that telling me RFE is coming. I counting on getting EAD as soon as I can for my wife to get her SSN/DL, etc. Life is on hold...

My brother went to his visa interview yesterday to attend my wedding in October. Unfortunately he got denied. The reason was : " Your sister mis used her Visa in the US"

I am confused. I already got an update on my case Sept 6 that I am scheduled for an interview, I sent my packet in July 14 and it was received July 18th on the form.

I adjusted my status here in the States in 2014 From B2 to F1 and now GC because I got married in June. Technically I am out of dt status as I am waiting for the approvals for my permanent residency..

I am scared amd confused. cried all night... I miss my family so much! Will this affect me? My mom will be interview on Monday and they also got her name yesterday will that affect her too?

if you submitted your aos while being currently in status then it shouldnt of impacted there interview... were you out of status at a b2 when you filed you f1?

I believe it depends on the consul.. Did your spouse helped with their paperworks as well?
