Administrative and Accounting jobs for me. I had another interview today and I hope to receive my EAD end of this month... Gozh! Too many jobs but cant work yet. Anyone from here who lives in Jacksonville, FL? I am also bored and needs friends :(

Congratulations to everyone with approvals so far! I sent an email to the lock box ages ago as requested by USCIS when they couldn't find my case and today I actually got a reply for them which is strange!

Anyway part of the email says this;

"Please contact the USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) by sending a request online or by calling at (800) 375-5283 to generate an inquiry with the National Benefits Center, where theyre currently processing your I-485, I-765, and I-131 cases, and request for further information on those cases and the biometric appointment"

I have an infopass appointment on Thursday but I'm worried as to what information they need on the cases and for biometrics? Any ideas? I'm worried that I'm going to have to start again or something, I hardly slept last night as I'm feeling anxious about the whole thing & I keep having dreams about being denied and deported! Silly I know, I just want it to be Thursday now!

You must be worried and that sounds normal if you got this kind of update....

Did you try calling?

After i called on Monday, there appears a service request number and status of this request on my i-485 cases page.

And it shows till today that the service request (with referral # WKDxxxxxxxx) was not assigned to an officer yet.. (urghhh!!)

It may be better to call asap and get this service request done as it seems like this will take some time as well....

And yeah still go to an infopass.. I hope you hear good stuff tmr.. my infopass is next week.

Woohoo!!!!!! :dancing: My I-485 just changed straight from "Case received" to "Interview Scheduled"!! October 17th. That was actually much sooner than expected. So stoked! Hopefully veryone else waiting gets theirs

soon. Seems they've been updating a lot of cases in the past days.

Congratulations to you too! It seems like it would be a waste to process the EAD/AP now, although I had hoped I might be lucky to have it in hand before I have my job interview at the end of this month. We will see what happens!

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

congrats to all,

today i was able to check my case online and got this message:

On September 13, 2016, we reopened your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC16913XXXXX, and are reconsidering our earlier decision. We sent you a notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by October 13, 2016,

Hi all,

My status just changed online to 'new card being produced' for the EAD! My receipt date was 13th July.

Does anyone know how long the card takes to arrive?

Hi all,

My status just changed online to 'new card being produced' for the EAD! My receipt date was 13th July.

Does anyone know how long the card takes to arrive?

I believe you will get it within a week or so. Keep an eye in your mailbox from now. I'm waiting for mine to so I can apply for Driver license.

N400 (Open window 1/24/2020)

03/03/2020: online submitted N400 application

 

ROC I-751 (Open window 1/24/2019)

03/11/19: I751 sent to Phoenix, AZ.

03/12/19: Package delivered and signed for

03/19/19: The check was cashed. Text message was received couple hours later (#LIN)

03/22/19: Received NOA/18 months extended letter for GC

9/14/19: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Sep 25,2019

1/24/2020:  "New card is being produced"


AOS for K1

07/07/16: I-485, I-765, I-131 AOS Application sent to USCIS Chicago IL.

07/08/16: Package delivered

7/12/16: Electronic texts & email receiveds

7/15/16: 3 Hardcopy NOA1s received in the mailbox with dated July 11,2016

7/23/16: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Aug 4,2016

8/4/16: BIO is done at Denver USCIS support center

8/17/16: I485 changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" When????

9/12/16: EAD/AP status changed to New card is being produced ---> then EAD/AP approved same day

9/16/16: EAD/AP Hard copy approval notices received. Card was mailed to me

9/23/16: EAD/AP combo card received

Aos interview 4/24/2017 --> approved on the spot. GC expire 4/24/2019

 

K-1 Journey:

1/18/16: I-129F Package sent via FedEx to Lewisville, TX

1/20/16: I-129F Package delivered

1/21/16: Electronic text & email received

1/22/16: NOA1 notice date (routed to CSC)

1/29/16: Hardcopy NOA1 received in the mailbox.

3/18/16: NOA2 received via text and email :dancing: :dancing:

4/6/16: NVC received

6/2/16: Interview day -->> Approved

6/12/16: Entered USA (POE Dallas/Texas)

6/14/16: Obtained marriage license at local COS office.
