Thats so frustrating!!!! Cant you just walk in without the biometrics letter????? :(

I'm not sure but I'm hoping that if I can find out if a date has being assigned then I can go to the office and see if I can get in say if I've missed the appointment maybe? I'm sure I've read elsewhere that Phoenix don't do early walk-ins.

If you don't want to waste anymore time, your best option is go to your local ASC and talk to a manager there. Ask/beg him to allow you take the bio. Bring with your NOAs for your EAD/AP. Explain to him what happened. Maybe he would take a pity or whatever.

What do you have to lose?

I've seen many cases where the ASC manager can allow cases like this.

Just say no to people who tell you to wait.

Thanks I'm going to see what tier 2 days to me today and not take any BS from them, if no luck then I'll make an infopass appointment as soon as I can and go in, it just means someone in my wife's family will have to take me and that might mean they might have to take some time off work as I can't get there myself as it's a 30 min drive.

I woke up in a grumpy mood today so got on to USCIS at 8am first tier 1 person fobbed me off saying I need to make another infopass appointment and she couldn't let me speak to a tier two officer, so I rang straight back and got the nicest tier 1 lady I've ever spoken to and she actually listened to me and put me straight through to tier 2 and I'm now awaiting a call back as the line was like 173 mins long and I'm not waiting that long on hold ? Fingers crossed I can find something out today as I've had two other VJ people message me and told me they had the same problem yet it turns out they never recieved their letters for their biometrics appointment and had missed them so they had to re schedule.

I feel like everyone is just passing the book, when I last spoke to a tier 2 rep and she told me a few weeks ago that they had my case but no date assigned for biometics she told me to cancel the biometrics as my case wasn't at Phoenix and they wouldn't be able to help me and I'd get a letter in the mail, yet the first tier one I spoke to today was all like "oh I can't help, you'll just had to wait, make an infopass appointment if your that concerned" so I'm hoping tier 2 will be able to help me more.

I'm so annoyed and frustrated right now!!! I'll post back when I know more!

Did you talk to tier 2 yet? I haven't done the bio yet either... I was going to call again on Monday. Please update on what the tier 2 says.. i hope you get a nice one. The tier 2 man who I talked to week ago was super mean lol he almost shouted at me saying WAIT! lol.....

Tier 2 have sent an urgent follow up request to the Phoenix office and I should get a response in 5 days, the guy was concerned that I've been told different things by different people. Now i have to wait for the letter and see what response Phoenix give me.

I really hope they don't say make an infopass appointment although the guy on the phone did say it could be possible that I could do my biometrics at the infopass appointment. I might just book the next date which is in 2 weeks just incase that's what the letter says.

Yep some k1 visa holders are exempted from the interview since they already had the interview before going here. It depends on the officer handling your case, if your evidence is strong and if your files are complete.

USCIS want to save time and focus on other applications that need more intensive investigation

It's all depending on the strength of someone's file- with my case my wife and me speaks the same laugage , religion, age and by preloading my case with all photos and documents plus my attorney in Bangkok prepared everything for us starting from the beginning of my k1 journey all the way to AOS. Most k1 will get interviewed before green card but a few lucky ones with stronger case will get lucky and won't require one .
