Refreshed my app today, and it changed to "New card is being produced" for my EAD!!!

AP is still showing as case received though???

What is the app name for checking USCIS status on the phone?? Thanks

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Hi string_beats, it's called USCIS Case Tracker, and it's free on the Apple app store.

It's been amazing for me, as I'm such a ridiculous anxious person, and don't want to wait for letters in the post haha

Oh i entered in the US with a J1 visa. So, i do have my SSN I'm in california so usually they only need your ead or gc

But for me, since i dont have it either i have a military dependent id and my husband was there to accompany me to take the written exam...

It really depends on your state and the office within your area.

So happy for you...yes, it was time consuming and very frustrating since it turns out I used a form that had a new revision...I dislike my visa consultant a lot :P I should have just come here first and followed through as I resubmitted everything just to be sure. They received it on August 24th but now I'm freaking out wondering if it has everything they need and worried I'll get some kind of RFE after the RFIE...I'm sure it will all come out fine...

I wonder what we will all do with ourselves when we don't have something to panic about

I woke up in a grumpy mood today so got on to USCIS at 8am first tier 1 person fobbed me off saying I need to make another infopass appointment and she couldn't let me speak to a tier two officer, so I rang straight back and got the nicest tier 1 lady I've ever spoken to and she actually listened to me and put me straight through to tier 2 and I'm now awaiting a call back as the line was like 173 mins long and I'm not waiting that long on hold ? Fingers crossed I can find something out today as I've had two other VJ people message me and told me they had the same problem yet it turns out they never recieved their letters for their biometrics appointment and had missed them so they had to re schedule.

I feel like everyone is just passing the book, when I last spoke to a tier 2 rep and she told me a few weeks ago that they had my case but no date assigned for biometics she told me to cancel the biometrics as my case wasn't at Phoenix and they wouldn't be able to help me and I'd get a letter in the mail, yet the first tier one I spoke to today was all like "oh I can't help, you'll just had to wait, make an infopass appointment if your that concerned" so I'm hoping tier 2 will be able to help me more.

I'm so annoyed and frustrated right now!!! I'll post back when I know more!
