Still waiting for my cases numbers to work online. Anyone?

Sorry it might seems like a stupid question but how would you know if your case numbers are working or not? My case status have been saying "On July XX the I-XXX form was received" since the day I've received my NOA1- does this means my case number is working already?

AOS Timeline [Husband is the USC, got married to foreign wife on May 31, 2016 (who was on F1) we both share this account]

June 25, 2016: AOS Package sent with EAD and AP request

June 30, 2016: Checks cashed

July 02, 2016: NOAs Received in mail (they have misspell my wife's name on 2 of the 4 letters they sent us)

July 04, 2016: Electronic NOA1s Received + USCIS online case status shown as "case received"

July 18, 2016: Received biometrics appointment letter in mail (scheduled July 28)

July 28, 2016: Biometrics appointment taken as scheduled, also have my name corrected at the center

Sep 09, 2016: Submitted Service Request since it has passed the 75 day time mark

Sep 12, 2016: Received Service Request Response: case is within our current processing time

Sep 12, 2016: AOS status changed to "interview ready to be scheduled" . EAD & AP case status remain unchanged.

Sep 20, 2016: EAD status changed to ready to deliver, AP case status remain unchanged.

Oct 04, 2016: AP case status remain unchanged but EAD and AP combo card was received in mailbox.

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

I'm using a USCIS app on my android phone. My i485 and i765 are both 43 days old. Status has only changed once for both of them. (I485 - fingerprinting fee was received) (i765 - case was received). My bio appt. was on August 15th in Charleston, WV. Let's hope for some change within the next 3 weeks. So far no RFE. Seems like a lot of people received one right after their biometrics if I'm correct.

Anyway I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you guys!

No news maybe good news. You have a high chance for not having an interview. My I485 already changed to ready for an interview since August 17 and I dont know how long it take for actual interview. Our Denver office field is currently working on I485 July 31. I hope it wont take that long to get interview date. But let hope we all hear something new on EAD so our loves can be able to work :)

03/11/19: I751 sent to Phoenix, AZ.

You need to ring USCIS bang on 8am in the morning and demand to speak to tier 2, they aren't as busy on a morning and a lot more cheerful too! Then just state that you sent your application in July and you have not Recieved a biometrics appointment, they will ask you for your I-485 case number then will ask a couple of security questions (that are related to your application) then just ask them to confirm that they have your case and do they have a date for your biometrics yet.

Hello, I did that after reading your comments couple days ago. Tier 2 representative was in a very bad mood and said bio date has not be set up yet. I asked doesnt the bio letter come pretty soon; he said all cases are different so dont compare with other cases.... However the day before tier 1 representative did a request to send out bio letter to me and she also got me a referral number.. So i am going to check that soon also...Its just way too slow for me..

7/26: Received 8 text/email NOAs

7/30: Received 8 hard copy NOAs

8/6: Bio letter received

8/8: Bio done

9/10: Case updated that RFIE was mailed regarding i485

9/17: Received RFIE (needs a cosponsor)

9/23: Mailed back RFIE

9/27: Case update: RFIE received by USCIS and case resumed

10/3: Created SR for my EAD as it's been 75 days.

10/14: Contacted congressman office to inquiry/expedite

10/19: EAD card ordered, AP approved

11/1: EAD/AP was mailed

11/3: EAD/AP received

11/4: Applied for SSN

12/2: SSN card received

12/2: Applied and got learner license
