Depends on how backlogged your local office is you could recieve the interview in a month 3 months 6months or a year from now... Each office has there own backlog so it all depends on that... You can look up the processing times of your local office on Uscis website... Your local office be whatever office you done your biometrics at

I looked up processing time in my uscis office (St. Louis) and it says

Processing Cases As Of Date: I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status July 15, 2015

OMG, does it mean that if I sent my AOS on July 2016 I will get my interview one year from now? Like July 2017? (((

My field office is currently processing dates for December 2015 so it may be a while for us lol. I live in a military town so there's probably a high percentage of foreign spouses.

I see, is this possible to pick up appointment date with INFOPASS?

I never used infopass, but seems like it is possible to pick up date if someone will cancel their interview for example.

its not that simple... if it was that simple you would have thousands of people at each location on a cancellation list for an appointment... I think if there is a cancellation the next person to get a interview schedule simply takes that cancellation spot... honestly it would be extremely unfair for someone who has been waiting close to a year for an appointment then someone comes along after only waiting a few months scooping up that appointment.. Immigration doesnt pay special treatm, ent to you its basically first come first serve.. Saying that it wouldnt hurt to try but i think you will be knocked down pretty damn fast with that kind of request... That is why you are able to file for the EAD so you can work in the mean time and carry on a normal life so your not house bound this is also why you get AP incase situations arise and you need ot leave the country... bear in mind also the processing times on USCIS website is always at a month and half delay to the current time

Like Moslund said above, that is not possible. As a k1 adjustment applicant you may not need an interview after all. If you do though, there's a line of people waiting, so you wait for your turn. Patience.

Haven't received biometrics letter.

Opened a Service Request more than 2 weeks ago, no response yet

I sent in a service request and I Recieved a letter in the mail, the letter said to make an infopass appointment to see someone about my case as they needed more information (I'm guessing the NOA1s) which is frustrating as it doesnt sound like my case isn't even at my local office yet, I'm going to the appointment on Thursday so I will let you know what they say if I don't hear anything by then.

It's just frustrating that lots of people get their biometrics letter so quickly and others wait ages.

Hello I am new to Visa Journey.

Receipt notice said it was accepted July 25th; ever since I have no update at all.

My case is not found on USCIS case status like many others here.

I feel Chicago Lockbox is slower than the other ones; probably many cases they have..

One thing I know though is that this doesnt move in order.

I dont know based on what they put it up online... however it is not in order.

My number is MSC1691369xxx

I hope I can hear something soon. My H1 ends 9/30/2016...

Hi there! My H1 ends on 9/17, so we are in the same boat. Hang in there!

N-400 filed online: Nov 23

NOA issued: Nov 24
