Yes I am a lot closer to D.C. I never thought of that and did not learn anything about D.C office experience of other VJ.

I hope things go well. the only way to check if any particular office entertains early walk-in is to visit them?

If yes, I don't know if its worth driving more than 100 miles/two hours just to get returned from the door if they are not going to let us in!

Correct only way to tell is to turn up at the door by your can't turn up at the door until you have your letter in hand... If you go before you have Letter in hand then they may not have your information in the system therefore it would be a wasted trip!!! There is a thread somewhere on VJ that has individual offices and user have added wether or not they got refused entry or not as a walk-in... NOAs dated 11th July, indicating receipt on 8th July

No letter for biometrics till date

Called customer service and they have created a case for this

Just spoke to USCIS about not receiving my biometrics letter yet, they told me I have to wait the full 30 days and I'm currently on day 28 and still no letter!!! She said there has not been any change in my case yet and I still can't get on the case checker to find anything! Fingers crossed it comes tomorrow or Wednesday

I received my NOA1 9 days ago but when I check the status at uscis website for all 3 case (adjustment status, AP, Work authorization) numbers it show up as not found.

Is that normal, im kind of worried. The check was cashed on the night that i received the email notification.

We received biometrics letter today (dated 07/30/2016), with appt scheduled for 08/18/16. Will try to do a walk-in tomorrow at the Portland, OR ASC

Same thing here, could call USCIS, but I think we should just wait a bit more. On the bright side, all 3 NOA1 are here so I filled in the address correctly at least

Got my text/email notifications this early morning starting from 12.41am. I had originally sent my package on 19th July but it got held up in transit by USPS for a week and a half. The money was processed from the bank account too. So happy, I was very worried I'd have to send another package as we had such a hard time with USPS!

Good luck for anyone still waiting - Bring on the biometrics letter!

Best of luck mate. We got a scare with our usps package as well (we couldn't track it for 1 week) but it arrived well and we are now waiting for our EAD/AP, then SSN and driver license.
