I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

Got the Bio letter today too for Aug 18 at the Elizabeth, NJ office :D

Got my bio letter today!! my appointment is on Aug. 19! The office is in Elizabeth NJ.. Anyone here who can tell me if I can do a walk in? Best of luck to all!!

I checked reviews and they mentioned walk ins are not allowed. Good luck :)

Yes, you have to include all the certified copies of all divorces. You will get RFE if you don't.

You sure about that Tara? We did not include divorce decree, for AOS. Did not get a rfe. Have our biometrics appointment in two weeks

Yes, you probably did include it in K1 visa?

We did include ours in I-130/I485.

You won't get RFE until later when you get NOA2. It's too early in the process.

Got the Biometrics appointment in the mail today for Monday, August 15th at the West Palm Beach Office. Seems like everything is going according to schedule! Good luck to the rest of you as well.

07/20/2016 Above received by USCIS

07/28/2016 Three emails and three text messages received approximately at 12:30 a.m.

07/28/2016 All three (3) checks cashed by U.S. Department of Homeland Security

08/01/2016 NOA1s received in the mail for I-130, I-485, I-765 (each dated 07/26/2016)

08/06/2016 Received Biometrics appointment for West Palm Beach on August 15th. The letter was dated 07/29/2016

08/15/2016 Went to Biometrics appointment at West Palm Beach (in and out in 20 minutes)

09/15/2016 Texts & E-mails received stating that 'Name was Updated.' (They had left out an apostrophe in our last name.)

09/23/2016 Text received. EAD (I-765) is being produced.

09/29/2016 EAD (I-765) approval notice received in mail.

10/13/2016 Went to local Social Security Field office in South Palm Beach County to request new Social Security Card. The DHS verification system was down and was unable to immediately verify employment status.

Yes, you have to include all the certified copies of all divorces. You will get RFE if you don't.

Tara is correct. As per instructions divorce decree should be submitted and remember to bring the original to the interview as well once it's time :)

You can get an RFE up until your interview date... Some people have actually recieved an RFE during there interview

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

Just came back from a successful early walk-in in Los Angeles (South La Brea location) after being denied on Wilshire Blv. a couple of days ago. Super friendly staff and out in 20 minutes.

If someone else wants to try an early walk-in in LA, I would recommend this location. I heard Tues-Thurs is better than Mo/Fri. I went at 1pm and it was very empty. Guard told me they

get very busy at times and have to turn away walk-ins. Glad I got in. :dancing:

Is early walk-in works in other states too? I think I will be going to Norfolk, VA, Thanks

My field office is Norfolk too :-) We went two days ago and it was pretty easy. Not sure if they do walk-ins tho, won't hurt to check.
