Hey Guys!

Sent my package on 19th July by priority USPS - worst idea. It got delayed and didn't get "delivered" until Thursday 28th July. The check hasn't been cashed and I've had no notifications yet. Is anyone else still waiting?

It's crazy because loads of people seem to be getting it all days after sending. However, I wondered whether it's because I sent mine standard USPS to the PO BOX (I asked for it to be signed for and sent in 2 days but the USPS lady was rather unhelpful).

My friend who did AOS a few years ago advised it takes up to 3 weeks. It's just such a bloody wait. I just want to know it's being processed. Again, anyone else in similar situations or waited a while please let me know to give me some sanity haha!!

07/19/2016 - Sent AOS, EAD, AP documents in the post with 2 day priority USPS

07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".
10/31/2016 - EAD/AP combo card received in mail.

02/04/2017 - I-485 case status goes straight to "Card is being Produced" (Approved without interview). 

02/06/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Case Approved"

02/07/2017 - I-485 case status changes to "Card was Mailed to Me".

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

I know the wait is awful, but I think you don't have to worry at this point. I got my email NOA at night of day 9, the letters day 11. The cheque was cashed a couple of days after that.

Biometrics was a piece of cake! Less than 5 minutes once called in! And we were early and not allowed to do it sooner... It happened in groups but we were first ones there in ours so we went first. All friendly staff. They give you this lotion type stuff cuz your fingers cannot be dry or the prints won't read! They do whole hand then individual fingers, and take a pic. Done!!!

Now for the waiting for AP, EAD, and AOS!!

Did you try calling USCIS? I have called them I think 2 days ago to follow up my Biometric Appointment but the one I spoke to advised me to call them again if I dont get it after one month. But Thanks God it arrived today :)

I got my NOA via txt/email late on a Sunday night. Hopefully you get yours over the weekend.

12/15/2013: Entered US on F-1 visa

6/11/2016: Married!

6/02/2016: Medical exam done

7/08/2016: I-485 & I-130 & I-765 sent to USCIS (Day 0)

7/17/2016: NOA via SMS & Email received (Day 9)

7/18/2016: Checks cashed (Day 10)

7/20/2016: NOA letters received (Day 12)

08/30/2016: I-131 sent

7/30/2016: Biometrics appointment letter received (scheduled for 9 August) (Day 22)

8/01/2016: Attempted walk-in Biometrics in LA: rejected (Wilshire)

8/04/2016: Successful walk-in Biometrics at Sth La Brea location (Day 27)

09/12/2016: I-131 approved (Day 66)

09/13/2016: I-131 document being produced (Day 67)

09/14/2016: Case is ready to be scheduled for interview + interview scheduled notice on same day! (Day 68) :dancing:

09/16/2016: Interview notice and AP document received in mail. (Day 70)

09/19/2016: EAD changed to "New card is being produced" (Day 73)

09/30/2016: EAD was mailed.

10/05/2016: EAD received!

10/17/2016: Green Card approved!!!!!!! (Day 101) :dancing:

10/21/2016: NOA with official green card approval received in mail.

10/21/2016: I-485 status changed to "Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service" (Only 4 days after interview!)

10/22/2016: GC arrived in mail!!! (Day 106)

Still waiting for bio letter. Just checked mailbox and there was no bio letter today. Hopefully it will be tomorrow.

8/6: Bio letter received

8/8: Bio done

9/10: Case updated that RFIE was mailed regarding i485

9/17: Received RFIE (needs a cosponsor)

9/23: Mailed back RFIE

9/27: Case update: RFIE received by USCIS and case resumed

10/3: Created SR for my EAD as it's been 75 days.

10/14: Contacted congressman office to inquiry/expedite

10/19: EAD card ordered, AP approved

11/1: EAD/AP was mailed

11/3: EAD/AP received

11/4: Applied for SSN

12/2: SSN card received

12/2: Applied and got learner license

8/14/17: Got email/txt for interview scheduled Sept 19

10/28/2016: EAD card being produced

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D
