No biometrics letter here.

Was hoping to get it today or tomorrow so we can do a walk in at the Sugar Land ASC. It should take about a week from NOA to bio letter.

Good luck. Can you please keep us posted about your walk-in? I am also in NYC and would like to do a walk-in when I get my letter.

Just came back from successfully walking in at the Varick Street ASC! I was in and out in 15 minutes, and no one asked why I was there a week early. The place was completely empty - I suggest trying your luck on a Wednesday afternoon like I did.

Just came back from a successful early walk-in in Los Angeles (South La Brea location) after being denied on Wilshire Blv. a couple of days ago. Super friendly staff and out in 20 minutes.

If someone else wants to try an early walk-in in LA, I would recommend this location. I heard Tues-Thurs is better than Mo/Fri. I went at 1pm and it was very empty. Guard told me they

get very busy at times and have to turn away walk-ins. Glad I got in. :dancing:

I just came back from USCIS support center at Denver for Bio appointment. It originally at 3pm but we were there at 2pm, saw no one there and only took 5 minutes to complete. No question was ask. They only need original passport and appointment letter. Good luck to all

When did you get your bio letter?

I received my Bio letter in July 22. Around 2 weeks after NOA1 hard copy.

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

Yes to lots of people. We got our text and email a day (or two) later

I've called USCIS yesterday if they can track if my biometric appointment has been sent to me or not. I just wanted to make sure the letter is not lost or something.. But the lady I spoke to , advised me to call again if after one month i dont get my biometric appointment. I cant wait to get mine!

We haven't gotten our bio letter yet either. We decided we are not going to stress, until Aug 15. What frustrates me is that the uscis app still can't find our case. Hang in there?

You guys have similar timelines like mine. The case numbers won't be trackable for a while (possible months). Some people got bio letters days after hardcopy NOA1, some got it 2 weeks later so I think we are within reasonable parameters.

I'm hoping to get it today or Sat so we can do it next Monday with a walk-in. Worst case, we will be doing bio sometimes in Aug.
