I haven't looked at this topic for a while, still waiting :( Like it's been said Texas office is slooooow. What actually scares me is the fact that I'll have to pass the medical exam all over again by the time of the main event since they are only processing February 2016. It's not only me who's still waiting knowing it'll be at least half a year longer right? We actually called USCIS and they just told us the same thing - February 2016.

Nipperswife and I are waiting with you!! My husband called USCIS a week ago and secondary customer service told us wait 40-45 days to hear word back, but they cannot guarantee it (to be expected I guess). Trying to be patient is so hard. News will come around eventually...sigh.

Yeah time for me to collect information. Luckily they did not require for full medication. Only page 9 in I693 form for vaccinations since we missing some shots. But my wife is pregnant now so I don't think we can complete all the require shots. We might need to get with our DR for note for not complete.

Alas! We have returned from our interview! I'm not going to give you a step-by-step detail review of what happened. All I can say was that it was easy as pie. The officer, and the second officer who was in training and just observing, were both very personable and amicable. It felt like the burden was not on us to prove that we were innocent, so to speak, but to just help to fill in a few gaps. She told us straight away that our case was approved. We only had about 20 or 30 photos but she actually looked at our simple album twice and the second time around she was just asking who and where questions, more out of personally curiosity than professional interrogation. She was more than satisfied with the documents we handed her proving that we were a bonafide married couple (utility bills, bank statements, credit cards, auto financing, etc.). Actually, we had more than she even wanted. The interview took about a half hour, but that was just because we have a long history together. We were married in the past, then divorced, then we remarried. But, it was a piece of cake and honestly, I can tell you all not to fear your interview. If everything is above board and you're not committing marriage fraud for immigration purposes, you have nothing to fear. I felt that our interviewer actually wanted to approve us rather than disapprove. Good luck to those few remaining in our "priority month."

Hello all:

My husband and I went to our green card interview today at the Fairfax, VA, office. The interview lasted one hour. We were asked about how we met, when things "got serious", when we got engaged, who was at the wedding. We didn't answer with specific mm/dd/yy, but rather in general terms, as we aren't much for celebrating anniversaries (anniversaries of the wedding - yes, anniversaries of meeting, or getting engaged -- not so much ). We handed over our holiday photo card (a good idea), proof that he is on my medical insurance, co-signed car loan, etc. We were asked all of the I-485 "yes/no" questions. We were asked for his divorce certificate from previous marriage, my divorce certificate from previous marriage, my most recent tax filing (I file late every year ), his sealed medical records and immunizations. At the end of the interview, we received a notice of interview results with a "reason for continuance" saying that our case is being held for review. At this time, USCIS does not require any further information from us. I'm not quite sure what to think. My husband and I think that the interview went well. He is Syrian, and it may be the case that the interviewer's supervisor needs to sign off, or that there is an additional background check. In any case, I will write an update to VJ once I hear of the next step, for other July 2016 AOS filers who may be in the same situation. Courage, everyone!

Hello , we just had our interview March 20 and when we got home our status online changed to " Interview completed and case must be reviewed " it's already 3 weeks .Yours took how long ? What's the outcome ? Kindly reply
