Question to the group.

I filed my AOS, EAD, and AP this month, which was received by the USCIS on July 11, 2016. I am applying under the EB2 category. Unfortunately, I just learned today by the reading the August bulletin (which apparently covers documents that were received by July 11th) that there will be retrogression for all EB2 applicants, which makes my priority date (June 2014) no longer current.

My questions are:

1. Will the USCIS reject my application for AOS? If so, do I have to re submit the same documents once my category becomes current again? Or will they automatically process my application once my category becomes current?
2. Does this retrogression affect the processing of my application for EAD and AP?
Thanks in advance.
Hi EB2FIler,
I'm on the same boat as you. I'm applying for EB2 category, and the lawyer is concurrently filing for my I-140 and AOS/AP/EAD. They just filed my case yesterday. I am also concerned about the EB2 category for August since it is not current anymore. I'm happy to have found this discussion forum to ask applicants about their journey as well. Goodluck to us all !!

Your within normal processing times... Case status is glitchy so don't worry if it doesn't work it's rather normal for it to not work for a few months... Also you got your biometrics fairly fast!! Uscis has 45days to give you a biometric date from your NOA date and you received yours within a 10days... It's all completely normal you have nothing to be concerned about Edited by Moslund
