I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/07/2016: EAD card was mailed to me

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

1/03/2016: Receive I-797 approval letter for I-130 & I-485; status updated to "New Card Being Produced"

1/04/2016: Welcome letter received; status updated to "Card was Mailed"

1/06/2017: 2 year green card received :D

Happy New Year to everybody, keep your heads up if you are still waiting. My husband & I are silly and made a video for the long year of craziness that we have endured. 07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

Thank you, hope you get a case status update soon. In my case the I-485 took some time to work online but the I-130 only worked when it has been approved.

All three of my cases never worked (AOS, EAD and AP). The EAD and AP did when they were approved and then worked as normal. It's happened to many people. I think it's just when it's not inputted into the system properly or there is a glitch or something?

 

Anyway, I've had my receipt numbers by post and done my biometrics etc so I'm not too worried. I've found it's happened to many people and when they call they don't really get any answer other than to just wait so I've not bothered. 

 

Although, if I don't get any update by the end of January then I think I will give them a call just to be on the safe side. As other people have said in previous posts... the wait isn't too bad now that we're with our partners :) however, I would like my green card so I can properly feel settled.

Yeah, that's what happened to all three of mine (EAD, AP and AOS). My EAD and AP updated once they were approved and worked as normal. Thanks for the well wishes :) I hope it updates soon. Makes it easier being with my husband. I think I'd be going crazy if I were still overseas!

My husband still hasn't gotten his either. Biometrics was completed in late August just like your situation. Being patient is so hard, but at least we have our spouses here with us :) Hopefully we all get some good news soon.

It takes a year for interview in Houston, Texas so we are just going to wait. No need to panic :)
