your welcome and that's cool, the other info is there in case usps website is down before Monday.

where are you at ? when did yours get picked up ? it may not take that long. mine was scheduled to be delivered on Saturday but i got it today, 1 day after it was picked up

I'm in LA. I hope it can be delivered on Saturday:)

Hello:

USCIS received our AOS packet on July 23rd. In August we went to an office near Hartford, CT for biomechanicals.

My wife received the right to work card (EAP I think) in September. Since then, nothing.

Case status online for I-485 says they are still working on it..that message hasn't changed since July.

We didn't fill out any I-693 because I am hoping they have the medical stuff from Tokyo. My wife had a zillion vaccinations there before the K1 interview.

Anyway, wondering if we should do anything or just wait. Is it normal to wait this long?

I will say, since we're together and married now, this sucks a lot less than the K1 Visa approval process. :-)

Good luck to all other fellow 'waiters" and congrats to those who have Green Card.

I feel you should go in for a infopass and check what is going on. In my case I wasn't receiving my bio letter and when I went in for infopass, i learned that if i didn't do anything it would have taken way longer to proceed to next step.

I feel you should go in for a infopass and check what is going on. In my case I wasn't receiving my bio letter and when I went in for infopass, i learned that if i didn't do anything it would have taken way longer to proceed to next step.

What is an Infopass?

If we don't do that will our application be rejected?

No that wouldnt be the reason for your rejection

scheduling an interview at your field office or any local field office via their uscis.gov website is called an infopass... which is basically where you request any information, ask any questions about your case etc.

07/28/2016 - Package delivered very late as was delayed somewhere in transit

08/09/2016 - Text and email notifications starting at 12.41am (texts came first and then email).

08/12/2016 - Get 3 NOA's in the post with the filing date 07/29/2016 and the NOA date 08/05/2016

08/19/2016 - Get biometrics appointment letter in the post. Scheduled for 08/29/2016 at 1:00pm

08/29/2016 - Biometrics appointment done - quick and easy!

10/13/2016 - EAD and AP approved!
10/27/2016 - EAD status updated to "Card Mailed To Me".

Much happening on our case over the last weeks: RFE #2 (requesting another certified copy of the marriage certificate) early Dec, followed by approval from a local office in Montana (no interview), and approval of AOS. Now the status indicate that the card was shipped. Expecting it. I set up USPS alerts to monitor delivery. Almost there. Thank you all for your help and best of luck to those in process.

Not possible to have an interview waived if you entered on a tourist visa
