Hello all. I'm looking at starting my AOS form filling and stress heightening again tomorrow!

I feel like a newbie on the forums again as I haven't been on here for the longest time and now I find myself in unfamiliar territory once again, desperately scrolling through the posts to make sure I have everything I need and understand the process.... nope, again, nope!

I applied for my SSN a couple of weeks ago and they cannot provide me with one as yet because of mismatch personal information. This has posed a headache because now I am married and in a position to apply for my AOS. I called everywhere and basically nobody can help, I have to wait up to 30 days for an answer. Zzzzzzzz.

Still going ahead with the AOS regardless. No doubt I will see you all again very, very soon! Good luck all.

For everyone who has received NOA1 so far. Where has your case been sent to? Ours is at MSC (national benefits center) NOA1 came 4 days after via electronic mail, no snail mail for the I-797 and our case status still does not work online.

Anyone else similar?

Mine was routed to the National Benefits Center too. No letter in the mail yet.

The e-NOAs did suggest waitinf until we have received the Form I-797 in the mail before checking the status online, so... patience.

All our cases go there, they may leave at some point to go to our local offices or some other offices or can just stay there.

The case numbers working or not online is something recurring, you can check on other aos threads. Some people can see their cases online, some don't. Technically you can call after 45 days of the receipt if it's still not working, so they can fix it, but it seems they're too lazy to do it. As long as you got the receipt, and then the biometrics letter, things are ok.

Same here.. Im still waiting.. My stat should be until August 3, 2016 only and when I called Uscis they keep telling me to call again and again and again! Its so frustrating! They said they couldnt find my name in their system!

Hello, i sent mine Saturday July 17, nothing yet, but i did checked and the package arrived at destination Monday. Good luck to everyone. Is anyone 100% sure that we had to sent a birth certif. copy or passport copy of our husband? In the Aos guide i didn't see it and i didn't sent any.

I didn't send it either because I didn't see it in the AOS guide (it would be nice if they updated that). I did receive my mailed copy of the NOA1 however but I guess we may get an RFE.

I didn't send it either because I didn't see it in the AOS guide (it would be nice if they updated that). I did receive my mailed copy of the NOA1 however but I guess we may get an RFE.

I don't think we will get a RFE, because in the instructions they are saying this:

So i think we will be fine.

When did you submit yours?

July 9, 2016 and it was delivered July 11, 2016. When I talked to USCIS, he asked my Alien # and they couldnt find it in their system and he asked me to call again tomorrow.

I had posted earlier to this forum about my step daughter's AOS filing (K2->AOS)

My AOS was sent July 5th, arrived July 6th.

This morning (July 21st), after 2 weeks, the check was cashed.

I can't understand why it tool this long. In prior K1-> AOS and K2->AOS submissions

the checks were cashed in two days

Oops, today was a good afternoon. We received our 3 hard copy NOA1's in the mail. They where dated July 16, 2016.

Now for anyone else who has received these... Ours has a priority date for the i-130 and i-485 of July 13 same day as received... Does this priority date mean anything?
