Just checked my save case this morning and it showed Return to agency.

So it should be maximum a week or 2 more until we get the card.

here is my update... my save case check says case returned to agency.. it changed today ... i am 3 days behind you let me know if you get anything please

then you should get your SSN in 6 days to 2 weeks... (it is supposed to say returned to agency) Try going back to them now that it has changed to see what they say.

My case status changed to returned to agency last Friday... pfff this is the 3rd time that I applied for a ssn

120 days of AOS journey and status hasn't changed. Anyone with similar timeline?

My husband is on day 129 of the AOS journey. He received his AP/EAD combo card and the like. He has his SSN as well. His biometrics appointment was in August and was completed. His case status hasn't changed at all. USCIS's website won't even recognize the case number given on NOA1. Getting kind of worried

Check if you are entering it properly. They say the 45th day is when you are able to look it up online. Call them and tell them about that.. but I kinda believe you're not entering it properly. You are to enter it as is... the letters and all 11 numbers no space no hyphens

I just entered it again. Looked off of his NOA1 sheet. I entered it the same as the paper and it still doesn't recognize the number. My husband called a month ago about this and they said there's nothing they can do about it except wait. :/

Nipperswife - Alot of people's are still invalid until they get updated. It just happened, they didn't get put into the system correctly or there was a glitch or something - I don't know. All three of mine weren't working until the cases got approved. So right now my AP and EAD is approved and been sent to me. Before this, They were "invalid numbers" until they updated. My I-485 still doesn't work but it should update once it's been approved.

Mrs Woodsey - Don't worry! I'm right there with you. My I-485 number doesn't work - Just comes back as invalid. I have the USCIS case app to check it easily everyday. Do you have this?

MY EAD and AP were invalid until approved and then they started working and I could track things.

I applied the first time in May, right after I got married. But after almost 10 weeks of waiting I found out that the card got lost in the mail. So I applied again in July (3 weeks before my I-94 would expire), but after 4 weeks I still hadn't heard anything. So I contacted the local SSN office and they told me that my application was cancelled because my I-94 was expired.

When I applied again 2 weeks ago they told me that I do have a SSN but they had to start a new request.

We have been at USCIS office today and got approved on our case!

Our appointment was at San Jose, CA office at 7:35 am. We've been a little nervous because we had to wait about 20 minutes longer.

But the officer that finally called us was really nice.

There were no hard questions at all.

First he asked some questions regarding our personal information like birthday, place of birth, etc.

Then he asked how we met and asked if we have any new documents proving our married life and relationships. We gave him a copy of our apt lease, our joint insurance, phone bills, bank accounts, etc.

Also we showed some latest photos, including the one's we sent to USCIS with the rest of the package.

The overall interview lasted for 30 to 40 minutes, but it felt even faster.

My wife's parents also came over from LA to support us and talk to the officer if there will be a need. But there was no need.

So we hope to receive a Green Card in December
