I dont know. We just got the text update, nothing in the mail yet. I went through all my paperwork and what they wanted from the last rfe and cant find anything we missed.

The only difference is it says "request for additional evidence" so maybe they need clarification on something.

Meg is there a local office near you, or will you have to drive to Memphis for the interview?

You got an rfe after interview?

Do you have a certified vaccination worksheet from a civil surgeon or an updated I-693? Maybe that's what they're wanting from you.

11/03/2016: We had out interview in Los Angeles CA. Our IO said they don't normally approve on the spot anymore and she gave us a paper saying "your case is being held for interview". The IO also said she is new, therefore she need to talk to her supervisor. Additionally she showed us a pile of cases that is being held for review, so it looks like it will take a while to get an answer about our case.

11/09/2016: EAD card received. Applied for SSN, needs verification will take up to 4 weeks.

11/10/2016: went back to SSA office with my unexpired passport, got verified right away.

11/10/2016: SSN card received

12/28/2016: I-485 status updated to "New Card Being Produced",later in the day updated to "Case was approved"; I-130 status updated to "Case approved"

(1 month, 3 weeks & 4 days after the interview) & (5 months & 2 days after filing AOS)

Jeesh lily... did they send you the second notification yet, the one that says Card picked UP? The first notification on your case status would be card mailed. You can also call uscis and ask for the tracking.. At least the good news is you're practically over.. and you would have your ead by the end of the week.

Mine was to be delivered in 5 days... it was sent on Thursday.. but thursday night I got another notification on my phone and when I checked it I got that it was picked up and then sent the tracking number... :) so because I was tracking it.. I saw that it reached the destination usps on friday.. it was initially going to reach me on Monday... but I went friday.. so 1 day... I think they said it would have changed to the saturday *shrugs*.

Call 1-800-375-5283, press 1.. then press 2 and keep pressing 2 until you hear the call ring.. wait time is 1-3 minutes... give them the I-765 receipt number and ask them for your tracking info. If that person dont give you, call back... remember they close at 6pm

I explained I wanted to know if I could get the tracking number, they transferred me over to tier 2, I was put on hold and an automated voice said they were arranging a call back. About 2 hours later I got the call back and the officer gave me my tracking number

hey yall,

hi all

i went to social security office today to have my name changed on my card.... but i have to wait, hence DHS has to verify that i am legit. when i got home i got on the SAVE case status checker and it says ... returned to agency and also on the top it says case under review maximum 6 days left.... what does that mean?

also does that mean i have to wait to apply for a ID or DL at the BMV as well ?

is a system where employment authorization status can be checked.

You can only use it after an agency submitted a check request when you apply for something (SSN, DL, etc). Have you use EAD to apply for SSN yet?

mine did that also, when i first got it... i dont know if it only shows up once you apply for ssn or what... but today i went to change my name on my ssc and i can look at the status on the save case status check.....
