I am starting to worrying because i dont get any text or email yet until now :( I have sent my AOS package laste July 9 and it was delivered on July 11 and also i checked the bank but the money is still there! I hope the documents I have sent didnt get lost.. Do I need to call the USCIS now or shall I wait more days? ?

July 9, 2016 - Application Sent to USCIS Chicago IL (AOS, EAD, AP)
July 11, 2016 - Package Delivered
July 12, 2016 - EAD & AP case was received
July 22, 2016 - I-485 Fingerprint Fee was received
July 26, 2016 - Electronic text & email received at 12:20midnight
July 26, 2016 - Check has been cashed out at 4:00am
July 29, 2016 - AOS, EAD & AP NOA1s hardcopy received
August 05, 2016 - Biometric Appointment Letter received (it was sent on 2nd Aug)
August 15, 2016 - Biometric Successfully Done within 20 minutes at Southpoint Jacksonville
September 21, 2016 - EAD and AP APPROVED via USCIS case status (Sept. 21 in the morning, EAD status was "NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED" and same day in the evening EAD and AP = APPROVED :dancing: )
September 26, 2016 - EAD and AP Approval Notice Hardcopies Received by Mailbox
October 5, 2016 - EAD case changed to CARD WAS MAILED
October 11, 2016 - Combo Card (EAD/AP) status changed to CARD WAS DELIVERED TO YOU BY THE POST OFFICE
October 11, 2016 - Combo Card received :) when I checked our mailbox at 4pm
October 12, 2016 - Went to SS Office and changed my name to married name

November 17, 2016 - Green Card status APPROVED and in the afternoon it changed to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED :dancing:

I'm happy to finally say that the status today finally switched to NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED!!! I'm so glad to see the finish line after all this struggle! well at least there will be no more of this

Mine is working the next day of receiving text message. But other still have not worked for months unless you call them after you finish your Bio to let them know.

You can call and ask to speak with a Teir 2 rep. Remember they're back log from November 2015 . I know it sucks to play this waiting game . Best of luck to you??

Why my USPS express package is not delivered yet? It's scheduled to arrive by 12pm yesterday the 19th but it has not shown anything since arriving in Chicago

Call #4

Good morning fellow applicants, after making little progress yesterday, we were up early and ready try again!

We spoke with a new polite woman at the service call-center and she was able to escalate our call to the next level. The next level was all busy, but we were able to leave an automated call back number. The estimated wait for a call back was one hour. The clock is ticking, we are waiting.... :yes:

Two hours and counting, no response...I guess I better call again.

I would be calling non stop and hanging up till I get a live person. Then do it again and again ?

Ha! It may come to that....

We opened up another call back ticket and were asked to call back later today "when call volume is not so high" and try to escalate our query. (Sound familiar....?)

Current ticket count:

Electronic tickets filed with Tier 1 customer service agents: 2

Voice mail left on the Tier 2 automated call-back system: 1

The customer service agent was polite as all the rest and confused by the mail we received. This seems to be an issue they don't often deal with...

I didn't do it with AOS side but with the k1 visa process I did, I just kept calling till I got through lol

We got a call back, the Immigration Service Officer said our check was written incorrectly "Pay to the Order of....". We wrote "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" and it should read "Department of Homeland Security"....even though on page 5 of the instructions under [What is the Filing Fee?] it clearly states:

2. Make the check or money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

NOTE: Spell out U.S. Department of Homeland Security; do not use the initials "USDHS" or "DHS"

I guess we do what she says and send it ASAP and try it with this check written with 'U.S.' on the pay to line. I'm going to be so pissed if this comes back again, written "Pay to the Order of..." incorrectly! <_<

I did as well, "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" and did not get rejected. Weird.

N-400 filed online: Nov 23

Thanks! Yah I Called today but the person who answered asked me to call again tomorrow as there is no available customer service to answer my queries. I will call again tomorrow morning as she said morning is better than afternoon. I hope it didnt get lost.. ?

We filed on 5th July for AOS for my 19 yr old step-daughter (K2 -> AOS)

Package received on 6th July (Fedex tracking)

No check cashed yet. No NOA. No nothing.

It's been 2 weeks since the package has been received. Should we be worried ?

Is there a way to check what is going on ?

Hello, i sent mine Saturday July 17, nothing yet, but i did checked and the package arrived at destination Monday. Good luck to everyone. Is anyone 100% sure that we had to sent a birth certif. copy or passport copy of our husband? In the Aos guide i didn't see it and i didn't sent any.

You need to provide a proof of permanent resident/citizenship (of a sponsor (your husband) ) to support the form I864 financial support.

03/19/19: The check was cashed. Text message was received couple hours later (#LIN)

03/22/19: Received NOA/18 months extended letter for GC

9/14/19: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Sep 25,2019

1/24/2020:  "New card is being produced"

07/07/16: I-485, I-765, I-131 AOS Application sent to USCIS Chicago IL.

07/08/16: Package delivered

7/12/16: Electronic texts & email receiveds

7/15/16: 3 Hardcopy NOA1s received in the mailbox with dated July 11,2016

7/23/16: Biometrics letter received in the mailbox. Appointment is on Aug 4,2016

8/4/16: BIO is done at Denver USCIS support center

8/17/16: I485 changed to "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" When????

9/12/16: EAD/AP status changed to New card is being produced ---> then EAD/AP approved same day

9/16/16: EAD/AP Hard copy approval notices received. Card was mailed to me

9/23/16: EAD/AP combo card received

Aos interview 4/24/2017 --> approved on the spot. GC expire 4/24/2019

 

K-1 Journey:

1/18/16: I-129F Package sent via FedEx to Lewisville, TX

1/20/16: I-129F Package delivered

1/21/16: Electronic text & email received

1/22/16: NOA1 notice date (routed to CSC)

1/29/16: Hardcopy NOA1 received in the mailbox.

3/18/16: NOA2 received via text and email :dancing: :dancing:

4/6/16: NVC received

6/2/16: Interview day -->> Approved

6/12/16: Entered USA (POE Dallas/Texas)

6/14/16: Obtained marriage license at local COS office.
