Received my biometrics letter yesterday/today (didn't check the mail yesterday, so can't be sure exactly). It is scheduled for August 12 at the Varick Street ASC in NYC.

Thanks! And yes, absolutely. I've been looking around for recent threads on this particular ASC but there aren't really any, so I'm nervous I will get turned away. Fingers crossed, though!

Yay! I just got my paper NOA1s :dancing: I have a question. My husband had filed an I-130 for me back in 2008 and it was approved. We used this I-130 to apply for the AOS now, and my I-485 NOA says that my priority date is March 30, 2008. Does this mean, that my AOS will be processed faster, or does the fact that the I-130 was filed back then does not impact the processing time?

Your processing timeline will be based on local office processing time of I485. Having a prior approved I130 does not speed it up.

Thank you for your timely response! I guess I'll just have to be patient. I didn't sign up for the text/email service, so I didn't get them. I'm planning to do it once my receipt numbers start working, because as of now, when I enter them, it's giving me an error message. Go check your mail box you probably got the paper NOAs too :)

Day 0: August 8, 2016 - Package arrived at USCIS Chicago Lockbox

Day 1: August 9, 2016 - Received date in NOA (Form I-797C, Notice of Action)

Day 9: August 17, 2016 - Notice date of NOAs

Day 11: August 19, 2016 (12:26am) - received email notifications that our application has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing.

Day 13: August 21, 2016 - all cases receipts are working online. Registered for email and text alerts.

Day 14: August 22,2016 - got hard copies of NOAs on the mail. Notice date is August 17, 2016.
Day 44: September 21,2016 - called USCIS to follow up my biometrics letter. I was given a referral number & was advised to wait & call again after 30 days if biometrics don't arrived. (30 days should be October 21).

Day 67: October 14,2016 - called USCIS again and request to talked to a tier 2. Tier 2 made request and sent it to my local office. Advised to call back again on the 29th if the biometrics letter don't arrive.

Day 84: October 31,2016 - received biometrics letter in the mail (finally! Almost 2 months from NOA 1 date)

Day 88: November 4,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Case was Approved' on October 31.

Day 91: November 7,2016 - received EAD approval notice in the mail

Day 98: November 14,2016 - Biometrics appointment in Tampa (in and out within 35 mins)

Day 99: November 15,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'New Card Is Being Produced'

Day 102: November 18,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Mailed to Me'

Day 106: November 22,2016 - I-765 (EAD) updated online to 'Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office' and found it in the mailbox! :)

Greetings from Florida. We thought we'd post our information because it is helpful to read others' journeys towards permanent residence. We got three texts and emails at 1:00 a.m. this morning and we added the receipt numbers to the case tracker and everything appeared just fine. We've read that the time to receive the texts can vary greatly, and some don't even receive any notifications.

Also, this morning I checked my checking account online and the debits for $85 (biometrics fee), $985 (I-485 AOS fee), and $420 (I-130 fee) are pending, so be prepared for your payments to all be cashed at the same time.

American Mission Hospital sent my K1 Medical Examination Result to US Embassy: March 13, 2016 ( I have received a call from AMH to collect my copy of vaccination report & Medical Examination Result & also AMH informed me that my K1 medical forms has been delivered to US Embassy on this date)

Packet 4 (Interview): March 14, 2016 (I have received a call from US Consul Specialist & she informed me about my interview)

Interview Date: March 17, 2016 at 3:00pm (APPROVED)

Visa Issued: March 21, 2016

Visa Received (On Hand): March 21, 2016 at 1:30pm (US Consul called me to pick up my passport/visa between 1:00-1:30pm)
