Hello,

Today I call the NVC to see if they had got my case and to get my case number. The guy at the NVC asked for my fiancé last name and he keep telling me the name I was giving him was not correct after about the 4 time I thought to my self maybe it got changed to her old married last name so I told him that name and sure enough that is what happen. But all the paper work is correct and even the NOA2 has the correct name. I asked the guy and he said that there is nothing he can do about changing it. He said that the embassy will change it to the last name in the beneficiary passport.

Has anyone had this happen to them? Should I do anything to correct this now? I am just a little worried that it will slow up the process later and I for sure do not want that.

Any advice would be great.

Thank you

As the NVC employee said, you will have to wait until the interview at the embassy before you can correct this issue.
