AOS filing fee, biometrics and Employment Authorization fee, bit confuse?

So, bit confuse bout the fees.......

a. age 14-78-- filing fee for I-485 is $985 + $85 for biometrics service...... Is it correct? Can I use one money order or check?

b. how about the Employment Authorization fee? No need to pay for that, cost $ 380, since I am filing it together with the I-485, Am I correct?

Anyone who did the same, please share your experience. I am just confirming. Thank you so much and God bless.

A. Yes, use a money order or cashiers check. You can do a normal check but it's delayed until the check clears. $1070 made payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Just get a money order or cashiers check, keep the receipt as well.

B. File them all together with I-485 and it's free.

I filled the same and that is how I did it as well.

Yes, $1070. How to pay the fee is listed in the I-485 form instructions.

The fees for the I-765(EAD-work authorization) and I-131(AP-advance parole for travel) are waived when filed with a pending I-485, so include both of those too.
