Dear All,

I'm about to start my divorce process, i read a lot of forms and discussions and i understand so much about the process of submitting an I-751 waiver. But there are a couple of questions that i would appreciate if any one knew the answers to them (Especially people who successfully were approved for an I-751 waiver).

1. When i move out, when should i inform the USCIS of the address change? Should i do that all?

2. Is the affidavit letters from friends in a waiver have a different wording that the affidavit letter for joint submission? Is the divorce should be mentioned or not?

3. If i collected the affidavit letters before the divorce but while we are separated, is that ok? or the dates of the letters should be after divorce?

4. Can i anyone share a good example for the affidavit letter, if for a waiver should be different?

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your appreciated help.

Dear All,

I'm about to start my divorce process, i read a lot of forms and discussions and i understand so much about the process of submitting an I-751 waiver. 1. When i move out, when should i inform the USCIS of the address change? Should i do that all? You should report the change of address as soon as possible preferably in 10 days according to USCIS guideline.

2. Is the affidavit letters from friends in a waiver have a different wording that the affidavit letter for joint submission? Is the divorce should be mentioned or not? What do you mean? it should be in their words attesting their knowledge about your marriage

3. If i collected the affidavit letters before the divorce but while we are separated, is that ok? or the dates of the letters should be after divorce? It shouldn't matter, but don't focus on the affidavits they are a dime a dozen, and sometimes worthless.

4. Can i anyone share a good example for the affidavit letter, if for a waiver should be different? Don't need an example, as long as they tell about your marriage.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your appreciated help.

Here are a few crucial documents you should provide when submitting your I-751

Birth certificates of children born during your marriage.

Bank statements

Leases

Insurance policies

Utility bills

Joint tax returns,

Joint credit card statements,

Joint loans

Wills

Etc..

Above is example of a few important documents you should include in the I-751 package. Make sure those documents should span the entire of your marriage, or as far back as possible.

Good luck!
