Confusion about I-134 Support Documents

Hi, all:

So we've gotten our NOA2 -- yay! -- but I'm just a bit confused about the next steps. Specifically, I'm not clear on what evidence I need for the I-134? I have no dependents and I made about $29k last year, with ~$16k from salary and $13k from self-employment. I've also got a house worth ~$95k and a car worth ~$10k, if that counts for anything.

So far, I've got:

1. My 2015 tax account transcript

2. My 2015 tax return transcript

3. My 2014 tax account transcript (just in case)

4. A letter from my County Tax Bureau stating the currently assessed value of my property

5. My car registration receipt, stating the currently assessed value of my vehicle

6. A letter from my bank showing that my account has been open since 2011, is in good standing, and deposits in the last year totaled $59,000

I've tried to get a letter from my salary-paying employer, but the bureaucracy is crazy slow and I've all but given up on that.

Will all this, together, be enough to satisfy the financial requirements? People keep mentioning W-2s and employment letters, but I feel like my split income ($16k on W-2s, $13k on 1099-MISCs) looks a bit weird without being all summed together as it is on the tax account transcript. Do I *need* these, in light of having all the other evidence? Should my fiancé also take evidence of his savings, etc.?

I just want to make sure my fiancé doesn't come up against any weird problems at his interview in London -- we're definitely more than solvent (super low cost of living in North Carolina, where we are plus we have the house and roommates help pay for it) and I want to make sure the CO sees it that way!

London embassy wants to see en employment letter primarily. If you have that and it satisfies the requirements, that's all you'll need.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

If your 2015 tax return transcript shows enough income, that is all you need. It would be Line 22 that needs to indicate sufficient Total Income since you have self employment. A letter from your employer would not work for you as the only proof because that is only $16k.

Your tax return is the easiest way to show London the salary income plus self-employment income. $29k is enough without listing your assets.
